I like making shirts and patches, so I was looking into options for what was possible at home. I could have gone the DIY route, but my printer uses inkjet, which is more difficult to get a workaround, so I opted for this. It comes with ten sheets of thick paper with a branded side. How to use : - Load inkjet printer with paper branded side facing up, print image mirrored onto the paper (I use HP Smart for this), cut out design, place onto fabric, iron on high heat with good pressure. Let dry. Iron once again just to make sure and let cool for optimal transfer. PROS : - Easy Transfer - Clear Image - In Depth Instructions on Packet - Holds up in washing machine on normal cycle. Other Notes/Tips : - Image backgrounds are white, so you do have to cut out anything extra if you want just the image itself. Any negative space will print white. They do make a black version, though. - It took me a few tries to get the hang of the ironing portion, so my first few transfers had missing parts or faded sections, but it wasn’t that difficult. - This is not a vinyl transfer, so be prepared for whatever you’re printing to be raised on the fabric. It has a paper like texture to it, which I personally like, but I can understand not enjoying that.
