what are these bags made of?

The bags are made of a permeable paper, like tea-bag paper but stronger, and with non-stick properties so the egg slides out of the bag when it is sufficiently cooked.

What is it made of? magical non stick paper and/or plastic? some kind of metal made up from glue? digital foil? what?!?!

It is paper sort of like a coffee filter. It helps to put it on a towel when done or it will drip on your plate or muffin/toast. The egg comes out more even on the edges compared with the standard method.

The package I have says "Made in UK."

comodísimo!!

Para aquellos que solo hacemos huevos escalfados muy de vez en cuando, son unas bolsitas muy cómodas y baratas, y sobretodo fáciles de usar. Echas el huevo dentro y en 5 min en agua hirviendo tienes tu huevo. Hacer el huevo escalfado directamente en el agua, es una tarea complicada, sólo apta para expertos. Y la técnica del papel trasparente y atarlo, me parece un engorro. Lo recomiendo totalemente!
