They are not perfect, but overall
This is my 2nd BlackVue Dashcam. They are not perfect, but overall, far better than any similar products offered to the general public in the US. Solid build quality, recent software/app overhaul was very much needed, and executed well. The cloud feature is near useless unless you happen to be in wifi range, but not a feature I intend to use anyways. Installation is easy and the picture quality is great for the size/price. I use the magic jack accessory for the first cam system, even with an Optima YellowTop Battery, it would not last through the day without the car running. Recommend getting a battery backup (like "Celllink Battery B") which with as little as 30-45 minutes of driving will get you through a full day/night of recording.

Gets hot/wi-fi drops
The camera continues to get extremely hot. I don’t leave it in my car when It’s parked. It’s also not fairly hot where I am. It’s been between 50-70 most days. The wi-fi also continues to shut off. I do like the picture quality when it is on. I received the camera at the beginning of March. I didn’t install it until a week or so later give or take days. I will be contacting the seller to figure out a solution. If it didn’t continue to get really hot or drop wi-fi, it would be ranked higher. I drive short distances. What would happen on a longer trip? I will follow up after speaking to the seller.Follow up-no resolution. Between the company, manufacturer, and Amazon this has been the worst customer service. I want my money back. This isn’t done!

Great video quality and connecting to the cam via wifi ...
I wanted this in our vehicle before we went to Lake Mead to visit family. When we got there I realized this new installation would be in a car sitting outside in +110 degree heat. I did not expect the mounting tape to hold and would be looking for another alternative after returning home. I was wrong. 117 degrees for 2 days (no way of telling just how hot it was inside the vehicle)..there was no weakening of the adhesion as it was still mounted and solid!! Aside from that, the unit performs just as promised. Great video quality and connecting to the cam via wifi is a snap with fast download speed. Would highly recommend and would buy the same again.

Worth the money, best value on the market right now
This dashcam is worth the money. I've previously owned a cheap one, and after it failed to help me when someone rear ended me and drove off, I upgraded to this unit. Just the other day my wife was sideswiped in the car and the other driver drove off. This thing got the license plate, the whole thing on video, including in the rear view the guy hitting a third car - we wouldn't have even known. Our insurance was able to find the guy and the thing is proceeding. That should save me a $500 deductible - well worth the money, in my opinion.Do yourself a favor and get the installation system that allows parking mode to operate without draining the battery.I'll also note, the app is trash. It's frequently difficult to connect to the dashcam, and the download rate is horrendous. You're much better off just popping out the microSD and viewing it using the desktop app on a laptop. Notably, the desktop app is wonderful. It shows GPS location, g-forces (in a vague non-measured way) and front and back video synced together. It moves smoothly from one video to the other. I highly recommend this camera just for that desktop app.Video quality isn't always the best. The lens is pretty good it seems, but the sensor is on the cheap end, and the compression artifacts from the encoding leave much to be desired. It's the best fire-and-forget dashcam I could find on the market, though. You might get better quality out of a set of gopros, but they don't do loop recording, they need battery changes, and you need to remember to turn it on. This camera makes it a real no-brainer. Once you install it, you never have to worry about it.
