Caution!!! The seller does not inform about it.
I warn all buyers - these are not ordinary, universal pedals. The seller did not write that these are specialized pedals, adapted to "toe clips" (noses) and used only for competitive riding. The seller is dishonest or forgot to write about it. These pedals are not symmetrical/double-sided and can only be pedaled from one side. If you put your foot on the wrong side of the pedal, the shoe will slide outward. Because such a pedal has full support to the shoe, only on one side. When these pedals are fitted with "toe clips" (noses), there is no problem, because you always put your foot on the pedal from the right side. On the other side, these pedals have undercuts so that the clamping straps fit better. I posted a photo showing such a complete pedal with a "toe clip" (nose) and marked the place where there is no support for the shoe (there is an undercut). I hope the seller is honest and will add this information.EDIT.These types of "racing/professional" bicycle pedals are now obsolete. Currently, pedals with a latch and special shoes are used. I suppose nobody buys this old type anymore. But when the harness for the shoe mounting is removed, the old pedals look similar to the ordinary ones for a regular bicycle. After all, few people know about it, it's obvious. And as you can see from the reviews, many people unknowingly bought these pedals as normal pedals (not for racing bikes). Some people noticed this disadvantage, they complained, but still rated the purchase at 5 points. - It's incomprehensible to me. I didn't take a good look at the photos and also bought these pedals as normal ones (although I know them because I trained). Unfortunately, these are not ordinary (double-sided) pedals and you can only pedal comfortably from one side. I already threw these pedals away and bought new ones. Waste of money. If the seller informed about this fact, nobody would buy it. But the seller does not inform. Is it fair?

Nice basic pedals
The pedals on my BTWin rockrider 520 had seen better days so I had a good look around for some replacement pedals.I had a few brands in mind, but decided on selecting Wellgo pedals due to reviews being generally favourable. The pedals are nice and smart and seem well built. They were easy to install, haven’t felt stiff or noisy, they feel just nice.Somebody said they were small, well they are a little bit smaller than the original BTWin pedals if you know those, I have size 11 to 12 feet and they feel ok, maybe a little bigger wouldn’t hurt but they don’t feel too small.Somebody commented that they weren’t the same on both sides, which is correct, the nobbly bits that grab your feet on the outer edge of the pedal are only on one side, so when you pedal with it the ‘wrong’ way up you can tell and it is a bit irritating cause you have to rotate the pedal so you can feel the part grabbing the outside of your feet. Not a major problem for me, but it’s something to be aware of if you want both sides of pedal exactly the same.I like the pedals and would recommend because for the price I think they are very good value, and are nice looking and feel good quality.I paid a little extra for the reflectors added as opposed to the ones without.

OK but a bit small and basic
Pedals arrived fairly quickly, the inner chrome part seems fairly well made, the outer is just some fairly basic metal cut and formed, it's held to the inner section with screw so I half expect them to loosen and fall out over time, but we shall see. The pedals are bit small for mans foot size 10, the design is odd, one side of the pedal is different to the other for no obvious reason, bearings seem tight enough but the pedals don't spin very freely although. the metal grips seem a bit sharp, hope they won't wear out my shoes. These fitted my Specialized mountain bike just fine the 9/16th screw thread fitted tightly and securely. If you have large feet then you might find these a little bit small.

Not high tech or light but they work.
Read a lot of reviews that criticised these pedals or similar for having plastic bushes rather than bearings and to be honest, other than being slightly stiffer when new (not noticable when riding, they just dont spin repeatedly if you kick them) they have been fine.I needed this style of pedal as I use strapless toe clips and I was able to fit the toe clips and the reflectors back on.Covered about 500 miles so far and they have been fine.

Very small
I'm quite surprised at the high ratings of this item, perhaps bought by those with small feet or for kids. With a size 10 adult foot these pedals are far too small, especially the very narrow width. When your foot is on the pedal it overlaps the pedal a lot so not seated or balanced properly. Feels awkward.Suitable for children or adults with very small feet.I shall give mine away so waste of money though I should have double checked the dimensions first.
