Useless
I was attracted to this product as I have cats and did not want them to be eating rats that had consumed something toxic. However it had no impact on the rat colony in my garden. For a rat killer to work, it is necessary for the rats to eat the stuff. Our local rodents had no interest in it whatsoever and although it was left in places where we know they feed, they never so much as nibbled a corner from any of the pellets. In the end we switched to Brodifacoum, which they consumed with great relish--walking o er the RatX on the way to get to it. Waste of money.

Roland rat says it seems to work
I tried human traps as had problem with rats after neighbour took shed down where a large number of rats were living due to them over feeding all the local birds and animals, we caught a few and released far from house, but just had to many, not being able to use poison due to cats and dogs, we thought we would give this a go. I put some down the rat holes and the bait was gone over night, I re baited a week later, not seen any rats on cctv for a few days other than ones coming from neighbours .

Ineffective
Next to useless. Mice have totally ignored it, whether mashed up with peanut butter or otherwise

Got them all
I was consistently getting multiple traps triggered per week, but they kept coming. When I incorporated this poison with the traps for the ones that didnโt get caught within two weeks there is no more activity. zero. The poison must have taken care of the ones not trapped. Nice!

Rat's will not eat this
Thought this would be a safer way to kill a rat that I cannot catch in a trap. The problem is that the rat refuses to eat this bait. I have left this out and placed in a few different places in my outside garage where Mr. Rat is hiding out. If I go back and leave one peanut out overnight, just to check to see if he is still around, it is gone but no taker on the bait. Do not waste your money.

Great product!
I bought this "poison" because I had mice in my SRO which was difficult to handle since they lived behind the radiator of my room heater and stayed in there all day. I was thinking to myself how to kill them without smelling them thought there had to be something that does this and I found Rat X. So I bought it. It works! I think? I decided to plug up there living habitat cause usually they'll all start screaming at night if I don't let them out but it's been silent for a few days. I mixed it with the usual food I feed them (I got them used to being fed so it would be easier for them to eat it when I could afford it) vegan Mac n cheese and some beyond burger stuff. Anyway it's been quiet. There's one left. He got.locked out of home and burrowed his way into my wal through one hole.so I plugged that hole up he refuses to it. Maybe he killed the rest by convincing them to eat it hoping I would keep him if he were the only one (temping cause he's so FREAKING CUTE) anyway..yeah I think it works!! โฅ๏ธ Update:: Since I closed off their other burrow a few were staying in my shoe box - I was able to catch them and release but one was already dead from the inside (I had caught him and half him in my hand until got outside to toss him but notices his guts all over the side walk) the other made it's way back into the box where I took the box outside and released him (but he'll be dead soon anyway) and the one I left in the wall with more poison has been very quiet lately. Since the rat I threw outside has his guts spilling out and is super skinny without any force I'm going to DEFINITELY say that IT WORKS. (I think). Still no noises from the burrow (I had about 7-10 and now I have none {maybe one more from yesterday but it might have snuck out while I was releasing the other again, havent heard anything so} :)) NO SMELLS EITHER OBVIOUSLY.

Inconclusive results. Maybe it worked, maybe it didn't.
A rat invaded our house for around a month. Since it avoided the sticky traps I baited and laid out, I tried snap traps with gel attractant, peanut butter or cheese. No takes. I then decided to just poison the sucker so I found this and placed it around the areas of activity inside of a small dixie cup. No takes. The rat was more interested in the roots of our snake plant so I cut the dixie cup walls down to about half an inch and smeared a thin layer of peanut butter inside and piled this stuff on top, then placed it inside the plant pot. Success! I did this for about a week and went through 3/4th of the bag. By this time my wife is getting fed up with the lack of results so I moved on to another product that is basically a small green block. I left a few of those out across 2-3 days and the activity stopped. The dog was uncharacteristically attracted to the bottom of our couch one day so I moved it back and lo and behold, a dead rat. It didn't smell so perhaps this product's claim of dehydrating them is true and it played a role in the eventual success but I really can't say since I "poisoned" the data by adding another solution at the same time.

Worked great, needs a flavor
It worked for me just fine. I had a stubborn and smart rat that would avoid all traps, tried this, wouldn't eat the pellets dry, mixed with peanut butter and chocolate chips. Fed it twice the dose suggested. Once the rat realized the platter was not going to attack him, ate all of it. Roughly a week later, success, rat problem gone. This rat has bothering me for 2 months in my crawl space.
