IOKHEIRA Interactive Cat Toys Ball (4th Gen) Wicked Ball for Indoor Cats Adult, Auto 360° Self-Rotating & USB Rechargeable with LED Red Light Toy for Cat Kitten (White)

Just received mine today and honestly it's the best toy I've purchased for my cat. He was born deaf so I struggle to find toys that keep his interest. He's been chasing it around for 45 minutes now and is so intrigued by it. It's built well so when he's slamming it off walls there is no damage at all. The additional feather and bell attachments keep him extra interested which is great. It came fully charged and ready to use plus set up was really simple. It's great value for money and I highly recommend.

Disappointed!, although the cats were interested when first switched on, the ball does not work on wood flooring, kitchen vinyl or smooth carpet, it just spins in one position unless batted by a cat then it sits and spins in one position again, the problem is the casing is really smooth thin plastic and cannot get a grip on surfaces, if it were rubberised or had a rougher molded surface it would solve the problem, I tried roughing the surface with 1000 grade micromesh abrasive and it works, only trouble is the ball then picks up any dust or dirt and looks a bit shabby, I won't rough it again as the case is very thin plastic and would soon rub through. Latest try is stretching rubber bands around the ball, this works Fantastically and the cats chase with glee. Just worried if they get a band off they tend to chew it and I don't want them swallowing one. Overall, the ball is cheaply made, poorly thought out and not worth the money I paid for it, about £5 would be fair price. If you have the type of floor with a slight grippy texture these ball will probably work for you. We have standard wood flooring, a cushion floor vinyl kitchen and standard smooth carpets, this ball did not work on any of them unfortunately. I will keep the ball and modify it, it only has one type of spin and really relies on your cats interaction with the ball to get it moving. Would not recommend at this price :(

This toy is a really good idea. Out cat is super playful and also very loud when bored! So having something that can entertain him for a while is really great. It doesn't roll at all on our carpets though, just spins around but on hard floors it does the business. He loves the attachments, without them he would probably lose interest quite quickly but that's just him. Noise is not too bad, a little wurring sound as it rotates but not something that would disturb you watching TV or anything.

Great toy value for money and a happy cat!

It doesn't rotate the way it should. It has a little weight in it which moves around and it just rotates round and round. The outside of it it's plastic with a little line, where the lid opens that its made from silicone or something similar. If its on its side it will rotate the ball but because the button is on the bottom of the ball and it has little ring around it, it just creates a place for the ball to just sit like this. The design of the ball just seems a bit counterintuitive. I wouldn't recommend. Plus the cats hate it because of the noise that it makes.

It's a good attempt of a budget ball. I can't blame the manufacture for my foster cats not liking it but i didn't feel it was as interactive as the advertisement promotes. It has an offset weight to move it that turns on and off every second, this means it cant get any momentum going. It only really moves if its on the side where the two parts join as this has some grip. I wanted to return it but didn't think i could until i read the description again . . . It clams to change direction when it hits an obstacle - Fact is it has no impact detection, its motor just turns on/off every second regardless of anything. It claims to have 'Catnip' inside, As you can see from my photo there is no catnip at all inside ! on these grounds i am returning it as not as advertised. I'm sure some cats will like it and to be fair it is a good budget version of some others on the market.

I wasn't sure about this for a kitten but after a few minutes of apprehension my daughter's kitten loves it. The feather attachment is fab, he's not so good with bells but they are all different. Haven't had it long enough to say how long the charge lasts etc but so far this is a winner

My cats were not interested but this is not the reason for the poor review... the toy is not mobile at all on carpet. Even short fibres are a no go.
