Replacement for Elite2
Our upstairs instant showers have to be fed from the cold water tank (rather than mains) and we have two separate Mira showers to do that. This replaced an Elite2. Firstly the price here was very competitive and delivered in 2 days and secondly our own plumber manager to fit it without the need of an electrician as it is a straight replacement right down to screwholes. There are some noticeable differences in that it is much much quieter (the motor is insulated inside the unit). Even the plumber was impressed. We had a narrow head on the old shower giving quite a forceful shower but have set this to a rainfall setting which is softer but I quite like and it is more than adequate. Interestingly the setting is best on medium. Turning to high gives very hot water.Very happy with the replacement. So much so that I am thinking of replacing my other one which works well, purely because of the quietness.
