I bought this power bank for my daughter who will be travelling to remote places this summer. The initial charge plugged into the mains was relatively quick. And provided plenty of power to recharge mobile phone and iPad a couple of times. However the point of buying this in addition to her normal power bank was so that she could charge it using solar energy when unable to locate a socket!. Unfortunately even on hot sunny days left out in a good position it really didn’t do the job. The best I got was one light of the four blue lights in a 24 hour period. Bearing in mind that you’re on the move when you are travelling it’s not possible to leave the power bank out in the open for that length of time. I guess in an emergency if you can achieve any form of charge from it that would be beneficial but given the weight of the item and the cost I think the product needs further work to improve the solar charging aspect. I returned the item and sent her with two regular much lighter weight power banks that she can recharge when she’s near a power supply instead.

The battery bank holds charge fine it just doesn’t charge with the fold out panels it only charges off the mains or the single panel fitted to the battery

Once charged via a plug to the wall it lasts long enough to change a phone several times.I had bought it many for the solar part to be able to travel where usually I do not have electricity everyday. It was a bit disappointing as the solar bits charge the charger up to 1 or 2 dots after 2 days in the sun, still better than nothing but not what I expected.

Utterly useless as solar, will not charge at all even after expose to direct sun for hours.

The claimed solar input is vastly overstated and output only slow charge, only good for a backup.

The power bank is not charging but the sun light at all. Last week I was doing a 7-day trekking in Mallorca. I bought it for this reason. The power bank does not work at all. Only if I charge it in the traditional way, which in not the point. DO NOT RECOMMENT IT!!!!

Bought this for my campervan so on a sunny day i could recharge it in the sun.But it would take days and days and days to charge up enough from the solar panels to actually be useful this way.It's great if you plug it into the wall and just charge it up as usual
