Yes—it’s perfect for baby showers or first birthdays. Would I recommend it? Absolutely Review: A favorite for my toddler - My mouse loving toddler has loved this book since he was 16 months old. It helped him learn his colors. We lost the book for a few months and rediscovered at 2 years old and he remembered almost every page. The repeating line/ verse format really worked for him. It’s written and illustrated by a SLP and I love that. Usually we don’t go for really delicate tiny illustrations like this has but they’re just so well done and it works for this particular book. Highly recommended.

My favorite toddler book for building words and it's fun!
As a teacher and new dad, this book is amazing. It captivates the attention of my 8 month old and she has been picking up on the words so quickly. I thought it would be a book for when she gets older, but it is made so well that it is one of her favorites that she likes to read over and over again. It's almost like a mini art adventure without the mess of art that teaches new words, colors and has an adventure element at the end that reminds me of a ride that requires movement. I just love it. I sincerely hope she makes more like this one in particular because of how great the impact has been on my daughter.

Love!
These are the CUTEST books ever! I love everything about them. They’re aesthetically pleasing to have out in the living room and still be accessible to my son. The stories are adorable. The drawings are beautiful. I’ve ordered every one of Tabitha Paige’s books and cannot wait for the ones to release later in the year. I love that they have the extra ways for parents to dive deeper with learning. I’ve looked for books for my 10 month old to help with learning and love that these are written by a speech therapist. They aren’t overstimulating and distracting like most children’s books. I highly recommend this book to anyone with children! These are the cutest books ever! I adore everything about them. Love this book ✨
We own every book from this publisher. The illustrations are stunning, and the quality of the books is top-notch! My child loves these books—I gave them to her even though she doesn't know how to read yet and is still quite little.

This was unexpected.
I've probably bought my 2 year old over 100 books now, and outside of the classics I read as a child, they are mostly awful. Terrible in fact. The kind that aren't even worth giving to the donation stores. This, is not one of those books. This is the book she begs me to read again. The one where she gets excited about the end. The one she makes noises to, and remembers the words. The one where she cuddles the pages because the chipmunk is "soooooo cuuuuute!" This book became one of those classics in my family, and now each new child will get one of their very own.

Beautiful book!!
This is a beautiful beautiful book. The illustrations are darling and the fun the author has with the cute little chipmunk was not lost on my three year old. We received this as a gift and liked it so much we purchased one for a friends baby shower.

Very cute!
The book itself is beautiful and I’m excited to read it to my 8 month old. It seems like a book I wouldn’t get bored of reading or looking at (it’s a Christmas gift so they haven’t received it yet). The book arrived in a plastic wrap but unfortunately it had a big slice in the front. I do not use blades to open the amazon boxes so I’m not sure at what stage it occurred, just too bad since the book was sort of expensive. It’s mostly me that cares since my baby won’t notice. Still giving it 5 starts since the book itself is nice and since it’s for a baby, she might chew in it anyway.
