This is an excellent moisturizing/hydrating toner for those with dehydrated skin. I live in a really dry climate (an actual desert), and not all hydrating toners work for me, especially those that are heavily based on hyaluronic acid. I usually try for something with glycerin and butylene glycol, which seem to fare better with low humidity. This one also has ceramides/cholesterol, which help give the toner body and help plump the skin and strengthen the skin's barrier. I have normal/combination skin, but it tends toward dehydration (climate plays a factor for me).I put this on after cleansing and before moving on to serums/emulsions/moisturizers most of the time. But, this is the kind of product I can put on under my sunscreen and be done for a minimal routine or if I'm going to do outdoor exercise. It gives me just enough to hydrate and moisturize.I started using a stronger retinol a few months ago, and I needed a toner that was also moisturizing/nourishing, and this does this.This is also great for the body, especially for those who don't like the feel of a typical body lotion.I've been using Kikumasamune High Moist for years, and always really liked it, except for the scent. I have wanted to try this Cezanne one for a while, but it is more expensive than Kiku and has been harder to find since the 2020 stuff. I finally found it at a good price on Amazon, and decided to order (I was running out of Kiku anyway. I'm happy with it and will repurchase if it's easily available and the price is right.

I also use Kikumasamune, and I wanted to try another to see how they compare. This one is slightly more sticky on the drydown, but not to a degree that bothers me. It's about as hydrating as the Kiku, and it has no smell if the Kiku's scent bothers you.The ingredients are stellar: three types of ceramides combined with cholesterol (it's important to combine them), hyaluronic acid, and a ton of other moisturizers. I like the scent of the Kikumasamune better, but this one has better ingredients in my opinion.The lid is a flip top that you pour out. I haven't had any problems spilling too much, and if I did I'd just rub it in wherever.I generally do a double cleanse and splash this on, then pat it in. I use it over or under the Kiku (the more ingredients I can layer, the better) and then follow with the rest of my routine. It's hard to explain to people who have never used a watery moisturizer that it indeed does moisturize without feeling heavy, but it does. I will keep a small spray bottle of this with me at work in the deep winter - I do high percentage chemical peels all winter and they can dry me out pretty bad.

This is very nice hydrating toner that works great for sensitive skin! I've been using tretinoin recently so my skin has been really sensitive and dry. This product is both fragrance free and alcohol free and it did not irritate my skin at all. It has a very light and watery consistency and absorbs into the skin quickly without being overly sticky. It leaves my skin with a soft, almost matte feel to it. It's also a really good price for the amount of product you get, the bottle is huge and I have no doubt it will last me a very long time. It also has really good ingredients which was the main reason I purchased it in the first place. Most notably, this toner has 3 different types of ceramides in it, something I really need for my skin right now, which helps to repair a damaged skin barrier (tretinoin has not been kind). I recommend this product if you're looking for something simple, effective, and affordable to hydrate and restore your skin!

Inexpensive but it does a good job. Highly recommended.

I am a complete Asian Beauty Nerd & Enthusiasts & this is my newest Holy Grail. So many ceramics. So much moisture. I use this right after washing as a first layer-few layers of hydration. 💞💞💞

Great for dry, sensitive skin. It's an amazing value for how much you get - a single bottle has lasted me over a year and a half with multiple daily applications. Hasn't exacerbated my seborrheic dermatitis at all, which is usually sensitive to products. It leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturized. Great for layering too. It'll be slightly tacky after it dries slightly, but the feeling subsides quickly.

It's a nice product, just may be a little too moisturizing for my oily skin.

It did for me!I don't find it as sticky as the Kiku, and it dries down very nicely. It's actually hydrating enough (for me) that I don't even need to layer anything on after it. It comes in the same size bottle as the Kiku, so it's another monster value. I'd definitely repurchase this when/if I run out. I've been using it for 8 months so far and I haven't even used half the bottle yet, and I use it twice a day on my face and neck/chest area.

Its amazing for dry sensitive skin. It has amino acids, ceramides and amazing ingredients and for price its such a bargain compared to other toners. You should definitely use moisturizer on top to keep skin healthy. Would recommend this to most people,

This thing is absolutely amazing. First of all, you get a huge bottle (500ml) so it will last you forever. You can even use it on your body if you struggle to use it up! In my opinion, it is better than Kikumasamune High Moist. At least it does not have the nasty bubble gum sake smell like Kikumasamune does.Cezanne has a subtle smell that you barely notice. It is very watery. The bottle is not so great for dispensing the product, so it is probably better if you decant it into a pump bottle or even better, a mist bottle! The ingredient list is quite clean but it does contain butylene glycol, in case you are sensitive to it.

初購入です。ヒアルロン酸独特のベタベタがあまりなく、潤いますがさっぱり目な使用感です。量が多いし、風呂上がりジャバジャバ顔につけてます。

It's a wonderful moisturiser/lotion! Has great beneficial ingredients, amazing for layering or using on its own in hotter climates/weather. Super happy with this purchase! The bottle will last me ages, but I definitely repurchase this again once finished!
