Sophia'sSophia's 18" Doll Purple Nylon Backpack with Zipper and Front Pocket

Great, but sharp objects can't be put away in this. Wish this and other backpacks had more compartments or pockets, just like for kids and adults.

While I don't love the cheap thin nylon feel of this backpack I DO love it's price - since it's quality it TOTALLY comparable to American Girl (we frequent their store and play with the displays as well and I didn't find any plus's to buying their backpack :) ).The black trim at top is zippered and easily opens and closes.I went to Dollar Tree to get micro sized notebooks - they even had ones that looked like our school Composition notebooks! They came in a 3 pack for a buck, can't beat. Then I bought tiny short pencils, doll sized to include.We added the Learning Resources Pretend and Play School set with this - the box for it wasn't sealed and is made to store together and this just slipped right inside it for easy gift giving. We homeschool so our school setup isn't like conventional school I grew up with - we don't need chalkboards, timers or hall passes but my girls are still adept at figuring out the concept of how it works for other kids - so they love to "play school" with their American Girl dolls. They set the "school" set up in front of them and it's perfectly sized, just like this backpack is :).We bought the Learning Resources set off Amazon for right around $20 then I later noticed the AG set. Nope, still can't compete - more accessories and much better price.

Exactly what I wanted its the perfect American girl doll size

My 5year old son has had a blue teddy bear “blue bear” since he was an infant. This is his favorite toy, goes everywhere with him, including school.One day while I was amazon shopping, my son casually mentioned he wished Blue Bear had a backpack too, so he could have somewhere to put his school work. I couldn’t resist trying to make this happen, and this backpack didn’t disappoint!!When it arrived the next day, my son was overjoyed. He immediately took to finding small toys to put in the backpack for Blue to play with. It hasn’t come off Blue since!Big hit!Blue is smaller than an 18” doll and the backpack worked out great. I knotted the straps a bit so they weren’t too long and falling off his arms.So cute, great quality with functioning zipper as well as an exterior pouch with Velcro.

Not large enough

Very nice little American Girl doll backpack. It does seem a little thin so I’m not sure yet how durable it is. It was rather inexpensive though, so good value for what you spend.

For the price, this little backpack is nice. I bought it for my son's teddy bear (from Build-A-Bear). The straps are long enough to fit the arms. I wish the fabric is thicker but other than that it's a cute accessory.

My 8 year old Grandson has what he calls an "American Boy". It's hard finding clothes & accessories he likes. When he saw this camouflage backpack he wanted it for his Birthday. The quality & details are great especially for the price.
