Brother P-Touch Home Personal Label Maker - PT-D202,Grey

This is my second brother label maker. My first one I bought at a yard sale, it was an oldie now valued for like over $200 on eBay, but sadly it died. So, I was searching to get one similar to what I had. I only needed it for my home. So, far I’ve used it to label my kitchen, kids drawers, water bottles, kids lunch boxes, etc. It’s so easy to use, easier than my previous one. I love the different fonts sizes and frames. I like that I can print two lines. I say is worth the price. I didn’t find the screen too dark, it is readable. Seems like good quality, I will keep you updated on that though. I hope it lasts me couple of years. Overall, I am very happy. I’m like a child with a new toy. 🤭

Initially bought this to help with labeling breast milk and now I use it for all kinds of things! Easy to use. You can adjust the font size and style when you print which is awesome and it also comes with pre-set formats if you've got something specific to label.

It is easy to use, works great. The transparent tape does not seem to stick as well as the white tape we had on our older version of this. I will be trying other tape rolls. Battery has lasted well. It is larger than the older version of this we had but it is worth the added ease and features.

My old labeler failed and I got this one. It's way more versatile than my old one. So easy to use. I've had a Brother laser printer also for many years; Brother makes a quality brand of printers.

Too many buttons had a hard time printing

This is my second brother printer, I enjoy it .I can print out whatever I wish to print. And go to the next. I highly recommend i can use so can the kids. They put whatever on there books, easy to come off, I have even watched them on there worke sheets.

Such a handy label maker! I would’ve loved the whole unit be larger, like their commercial unit I had in my office. But the quality is there. Some complain about viewing what you type. It is light, but I use it in a well lit room without any problems. I would definitely buy it again.

No manual (just illegible - thin sheet of instructions. You can download it but it is still challenging to read. The screen has no backlight, rendering it extremely hard to see what is on it. Also, because the screen itself is so shiny, putting a light over it doesn't help - it just causes glare. My eyesight isn't wonderful or awful - (when will designers, printers, manufacturers get that it is hard to read 2 point font in yellow on pale orange?) Most of the phones/computers have adjustments to help with this kind of thing. This is a computer of sorts and something needs to change.

I received this item and put the batteries in and haven't had a problem so far. Complaints I have read about the display being hard to read are accurate. You need a well lit room and the right angle. Other than that, this is a gem! No need for me to read directions, I just played with it for 5 mins and was able to produce the labels I want. Recommend.

I went thru the instructions and picked up more off line and still can not get this machine too function for just the simplest of operations. I cannot recommend this machine for just hobbies or using around your home.
