Leviton40834-W Feed Through, QuickPort HDMI Connector, White

Hit or miss on whether it works for 4k HDR video signals. Worked with my Vizio 4k tv with Amazon certified 4k cables (limit seems to be one of these couplers total, so don’t plan on using two) but did not work on my brothers LG 4k tv with the same cables.

seems to work well, 5-10 insertions and it's staying solid. using in an outdoor box for occasional use with a monitor outside.

I am so glad I bought these. I had another set of hdmi passthru for the wall and lost my 4k signal. I had also installed these along side the other brand and switched the Tivo and TV to this set of passthrus and got my 4k signal back! Whew because I almost pissed off the wife there if I had lost the 4k signal. Thank you Leviton for the quality product. I will buy two more and swap the cheap end brand out and throw them out.

Hard to find Leviton products, now available on Amazon.com. These use to be available at the Home Depot, but now they got really cheap and got some China products which I really don't like. I truly like the quality of this product and have used Leviton in all my electrical wiring and A/V needs. Great item that works through walls if you need to hide that pesky HDMI cable nicely and professionally. Advice to get the 8 port plate because you never know how many other wires you might want to add in the near future.

This is NOT so much a review on the product as a review on the particular item I received, because it was wrong... but wrong in a way that makes no sense so I just wanted to warn people and explain what to watch out for.I've been using Leviton Quickport tech for close to fifteen years now and always been satisfied.I ordered 4 HDMI quickport connectors... 2 white, 2 black. The two black ones were fine and fit fine. One of the white ones fit fine, but the other did not. Particularly interesting is that if you scroll through the pictures on Amazon you'll see that ONE of them shows a white connector with more plastic above the HDMI connector than below. That is the one I received that did not fit. (and I noticed far too late to return it since I ordered it well in advance of my project)

These are a bit pricy, especially when they are essentially only a passthrough connector and can be found elsewhere for half the price. If these were $10 or so I would give this 5 stars.

I bought one of this for a Leviton socket that lives in the back on my TV.Long story short: this product either works and the signal doesn't suffer any damage or the signal that goes in is not as good as the one that comes out. After testing thoroughly, the signal doesn't deteriorate so I'm giving it 5 stars.The piece itself is sturdy. The only thing I'm wondering is if it could be possible to reuse it because it's very secured to the mount.

Home Depot at one time carried this item and may still at some of their larger stores but I haven’t been able to find it which may be a good thing as the one available at Home Depot now is about half the price. Other than that it fits the QuickPort Decora inserts and works as designed. Check around you can find it for less.

Top quality product. Much better than 3rd party products bought in most stores. Being an Electrician, I have tested other brands and Leviton is one I have stuck by, especially for any Quickport applications

I found some generic keystones for HDMI that were cheaper but I had to stick with a brand I trust to work every time and that his Leviton.
