First off, I was searching for a good hair straightener that doesn't cost me a lot of money, I have a curly, frizzy thick hair and needed a straightener that does the job in less time as possible. I do have 3 other brands of hair straighteners, they work good out of the box but after awhile of use, the heat doesn't do the job as much. I bought this product out of good reviews I have read on here, at first, I thought it cost under $40, I wasn't sure if it is any good...but trusting on the good reviews, so I got one.....I have used this for about 3 weeks now. I am surprised that this works well for my hair, for the heat setting, I normally set it up to 375 and it works pretty good. I probably try to go up to the max and see how fast and how well it straightens my hair, the 375 is okay, I run it through my hair about twice and of course in sections. After straightening, my hair feels softer than my other older irons. We'll see in about few months from now, if it still works good, I will come back for more reviews. Thanks.

It's smaller than I think and this size is the best., it's faster to heat, and it doesn't hurt your hair very much. Straight hair and curly hair can do it!

I have not yet used this product, but I am giving it 1 star because it is advertised as dual voltage when it is clearly not. I may use it with a converter or an adapter as any other product (and may burn it as well), but it does not have a switch to turn it from 120v to 220v, as dual voltage devices have. It specifies only 120v.

Love being able to see the digital temp reading. Heated up very fast, needed the long cord, and straightened hair so smoothly.

This is curly hair straightening amphibious, super good, very good operation, can adjust temperature, and temperature, it can adjust the temperature of you need at any time, made the result is right also. Positive recommendation!

I always spend $200+ on my straighteners but after the last one got fried oversees after only having it for 6 months, I figured I'd spend less this time around. This straightener was SO much better than my last one and I cannot believe it's only $30. Not only was I able to flat iron my hair quicker but it made it look much healthier than my last one.

I would love this straightener if it weren't for the fact that the plates don't touch and I have to use a LOT of force to make it touch all the way to straighten my hair. It is such a disappointment because I read all of the great reviews and was looking forward to using it. I will be returning this product...

I was experimenting with it and set the temp too high, but can't reset it to a lower temp
