Does the hanging Pole come with the shield

No hanging pole comes with the shield. However, on the back of the shield is a "hanging indenture" that slides onto the head of a nail or screw. So, you can hang the shield two ways.....with a nail/screw or a pole. I chose the nail/screw method.

Will this shield keep the sensor dry so ut can be placed out in the open?
