Power Trainer Pro

I ordered this product for some in-house exerise. It does what the description says and I'm very satisfied.It's made of good materilas, has solid and comfy grips.

The product is well made and very helpful for pushups. We were unable to make it work on the doors in our house but have used it extensively for floor work. It would have been helpful to know exactly what dimensions were needed for clearance on both side and the top of the door.

Do not buy this chin up bar! The materials are so cheap that they can't even hold a full-grown man. The instruction booklet said it's rated for up to 300 lb, but parts started to bend when I used it and I only weigh 190 lb. First, the 2 J brackets that hold the chin up bar on the wall bent at a 45 degree angle so that the chin up bar was also hanging at 45 degrees. So I made my own brackets out of heavier steel, which solved that problem. But then a new problem came up. The 2 screws in the top cross bar that sits in the J brackets bent and started to strip right out. I ordered this directly through Beachbody and I am going to demand my money back. Someone could get injured if this thing breaks while their hanging from it.

Works great, ordered from Beachbody (which is 40 bucks cheaper) and put together in no time and was able to use with no problem. Works great because of the fact I live in an apartment and cannot drill into the walls. Great piece of equipment.

I shopped around and found a few different pull up bars, but I really like the variety of grip types this bar offers. I'm only 175lbs so I'm well below the weight limit of this bar (250lbs). My only real hangup with this product is the fact the main bar is made up of two bars which are held together with two small bolts in the center. Because the metal isn't extremely thick, the bar bows slightly in the center from stress placed on the joint when doing close handed pull ups. Not a big deal for me, but it makes me wonder if a guy's weight was near the max limit of the bar. I'm sure it would still hold, but I'm picky. The grips are extremely comfortable and grip very well. There are two cheesy little screws which are intended to secure the backside of the bar to the wall above the doorway, but that's only if you decide to permanently mount it which I don't so it's a non factor for me. A person's body weight keeps the thing securely in place. For me and my weight, this thing is a 5 star bar, but the slight bowing makes me wonder, and so I have to give it a 4.

I ordered this item from Ebayer and took forever for me receive.. watch out for Ebayer named Jay.. somthing.. who sells this item. claims that shipment was lost and ships like 2weeks later. Well if it wasn't a defective item, i wouldn't even complain but it finally came and "U" shaped tube was in different size and won't assemble. I can't say all or what percentage of this item is defective but P90X company is not a known company for making fitness items. I should have known this before I placed an order. BUt anyhow if it assembled alright..it will work well i guess. BUT WAY OVER PRICED (thats why I bought from ebayer and that was my mistake)

worst thing ever. no manual to show how to put together. does not work well. ruins the door. feels like it will break. waste of money. while you are doing pull ups it slowly comes down, making you stop your workout and rearrange it in place. do not buy. who ever wrote a review that says its a good thing is obviously working for the company!!!!!!
