This beautiful butter dish fits my decor perfectly! I love it. It is deep and wide and made of enamel covered metal with a wooden lid. Perfect for my clumsiness. I would have preferred a rubber seal around the inside of the lid, but I didn't read the description closely. I would order it again though. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I was thrilled to see that it was made in the USA and that I had ordered from a small business. Inside the package was a lovely thank you card with direct phone number to call if I needed any help with the item.

This is the cutest butter dish I have ever seen!!!! Seriously it’s like I’m back in my grandma’s country farm kitchen and you can just smell the warm fresh rolls coming out of the oven on a sunny summer day just looking at the darn thing. Well built. High quality. Heavy duty. Fits perfectly in my kitchen. I didn’t want plastic and I didn’t want a typical glass butter dish. I wanted something unique that would match my kitchen. It’s earthy, it’s warming, it’s cute, and it’s high end. It’s the only butter dish you’ll ever buy. Also, it’s from a small family owned business. Buy local, buy from a small business, buy from a family. Stop feeding the corporate monopolies... except of course I did buy this though Amazon... do what you can I guess!

I LOVE my butter dish!! It is so cute and made of quality materials. It keeps my butter for a good 2 weeks and you can fit two sticks in it. I get compliments on it often. I had one speck of white glaze/enamel that is on the black rim in the front which I had to use a black permanent marker to cover up. Other than that, very happy with my purchase. The top doesn’t slide off, very easy to clean, and looks nice on the countertop.

This butter dish is well made and looks great in my kitchen. The lettering on one side is perfectly aligned and beautiful. It can easily hold two cubes side by side and the lid fits nice and snug without touching the butter. It keeps the butter fresh and soft while sitting out on my counter. It's also easy to clean and I'm so happy I bought it. I love it!

Long term input: Star deducted because Enamel does chip easily and wood cover must be pried off for each use. Still, I would buy again and use it every day. I hated my small, old butter dish, so I got this nice big one. Wasn't sure if it would fit - it's large, holds a stick of salted, one of unsalted butter and then some - but it does, perfectly in my Fridge's door compartment. The finish is heavy porcelain, so while I'm (reasonably) leery of metal knives chipping it, the real test will be my destructive GF (only person I've ever seen punctuating a comment by beating a high quality Japanese knife's razor edge on a cast iron frypan's lip), so while the wooden top is well made, a nice touch and fits well - I guess it's for cheese? If it'll break from repetitive, careless dropping, she's got that covered. So far so good. Two drops and no apparent damage !!! But seriously, I'd rather pay a bit more, get something that lasts and I did.

As I have heard from other that reviews have occasionally been repurposed, this review is for the item currently titled "Granrosi Farmhouse Butter Dish - Beautiful Butter Container With Wooden Lid Keeps Your Butter Soft and Enhances Your Kitchen Decor". We needed a new catproof butter dish after adopting two new kittens. They discovered the old butter dish and helped themselves. After a bit of looking, I settled on this one. I'm happy to say that the lid is very will fitted. Most humans should be able to remove the lid without issues, though it might be a challenge for those with, say, arthritis. The cats won't even try to remove it, so I'm guessing the seal is airtight or close to it. The materials are solid and can survive a drop from the top of the refrigerator if needed. Cleaning is easy, and the design contains butter that melts on a hot day. I don't think I'll need to purchase one of these again for a very long time, but I would certainly recommend it highly.

The butter dish is nice. It looks nice. It's made well. It holds butter well. It's what you expect from a butter dish. What really stands out for me is what comes with the butter dish - great service. I had a little nick in the one I received. Hey, stuff happens. Nobody would see it once there was butter in the dish. I wrote the company though to let them know in case they were keeping quality control records on their manufacturer and to ask if the chip presented any sort of a hygiene issue with residue maybe being stuck in the chip. These folks (specifically Olga) went way above my expectations to "make things right." They (she) also did so with politeness and humanity. This tiny little chip wasn't just another thing to take care of as a part of some mundane job in a boring office somewhere. It was really nice to work with someone that had such pride in their product and so much respect for their customer. Thank you!

This bitter dish is just what I was looking for! Tiny hands dropped my ceramic one, so I wanted something cute, lightweight, and unbreakable. This fits all of those requirements perfectly, and will be great for our RV too. As you can see from the photos, two sticks fit perfectly in there, and there is plenty of space above the butter so the lid doesn’t get messy. The lid does not seal tightly, but I’ve never had a butter dish that did, so I’m more than ok with that. This dish is the perfect addition to your farmhouse kitchen!

Excellent quality

Great quality, exactly as described. It looks great, and I love that this dish has the butter IN the container and a lid covering it. Many butter dishes sit on a flat surface and then a larger container is placed over the stick of butter onto the base. This is perfect for our family. And oh so easy to clean!

It looks cool and holds as much or as little butter as I chose to put in it. Thanks for a great addition to my kitchen

A bit small for a regular sized bar of butter but it came with a cute note from the supplier so im glad just to support them.
