Not sure about the "gold", but for the money, works fine. Keep it by the chair i watch TV on. Handy for embouchure/tonguing practice. Buy one.

Good heavy brass trumpet mouthpiece
I got this mouthpiece for my daughter who started trumpet lessons this year and it is working well! It is good quality heavy brass and fits as expected into the trumpet the school loans her. Great value for the cost.
