I guess I’m weird but I have the habit of lifting my toes when I walk and I do it without thinking about it and in the process for YEARS I have ruined shoe after shoe well before its time just bc they looked rough and worn and just unprofessional.This. This invention is a miracle. Not only does it save my shoe, I don’t have to sacrifice comfort for it! I don’t even know it’s THERE! You can cut them to desired fit, and even reposition a few times before the stickiness wears off (not recommended but for being a miraculous invention it is a pain in the butt to place FYI). But if that’s its only flaw I’ll gladly accept that since I’ve only had to do it once a year so far.Customer for life🙌🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

I love the fact that a product like this exists. Such a great way to help save your shoes! I'm walking many miles daily with my dog and put lots of wear and tear on my sneakers. I put these in the toes of my shoes in order to protect the somewhat fragile fabric of the upper from my less fragile toes and they've been doing their job nicely. The problem is that the adhesion isn't quite as good as I had hoped. The install of these wasn't that difficult, though you need to take your time and be careful, so I know I had a very good fit and very good adhesion in the beginning. After 3 months or so the edges are peeling a bit, so I suspect that at some point they'll keep peeling and have to be replaced. It would be great to have a product like this that could wear as well or better than the shoes they were placed in, but still they are doing a better job of protection that I would have had without them.

I kept wearing holes in the big toe area of my Brooks. The rest of the shoe might be good for a couple of years, but the fabric upper was shot in 4-5 months. This product is the answer IF you get it placed properly to start. Once in place you won’t know it’s there, but getting it there can be tricky. Loosen the shoe as much as possible and try a couple of dry runs to see where the guard should end up. Then peel back the leading 1/4 or so of the paper backing and crease sharply to provide a handhold. If you don’t peel back enough it will be difficult to grab while you’re fumbling around inside your shoe; peel back too much and the overly exposed patch may stick before you get it into place. Once in place press the exposed part firmly against the top inside of the shoe, pull back the tab you have created, and press the rest of the patch in place. Mine have really stuck, and I don’t even know they’re there.

Great idea. Maybe they would work better on brand new shoes.One side came undone and bunches all up. But maybe I applied it wrong (it’s harder to get in than I expected) or maybe it was too dirty inside as I’ve been wearing shoes for an year already.Also, while they are black, the backing side with the sticky is more gray. I was stopping a toe hole from expanding more and you can obviously see the gray side hole patch from the outside of my shoe since you put it on with the black side facing down inside the toe box.

My silly toe was making a lovely little hole in my just-out-of-warranty-one-year-old $180 sneakers. And, in today's economy, no way was I buying another pair. Tomorrow isn't guaranteed and I'll go out with flat feet and $180 richer.. So, I looked up the best rated hole blockers on Amazon and came across this product. Worth every penny! Which it's very inexpensive for it being the savior to my shoe's life. I highly recommend. And I was accidently short shipped one pair but their customer service was super responsive and took care of me. Great product and people.

I've ordered this product several times in the past. This time the shoe armour was made of a vinyl material instead of the ballistic fabric. I'm not happy about switching of the material with no notice. I don't know if it will work as well, the vinyl patch is thicker than the ballistic fabric, and may not breath as well. I'll try it, but would have preferred to get what I ordered.

I never realized that it is so common for your big two to cause tears in shoes! I’ve had this trouble and have had to miss out of some very cute shoes! I finally searched for a solution and found these! They are perfect! I don’t feel them at all!
