Not up to standard
They block most of the air flow, definitely not buying again.

Perfect Fit & Excellent Performance โ Great Value Replacement Filters
I purchased the PUREBURG Replacement Filter Pack for my Blueair Classic 503 (part of the 500/600 series) as a more affordable alternative to the official Blueair Smokestop filters, and Iโm very impressed. The filters fit perfectly with no gaps or modifications required. Installation takes less than a minute โ just open the unit, remove the old filters, and drop these in. The combination of HEPA and activated carbon (Smokestop) layers does an excellent job capturing dust, allergens, pet dander, and especially smoke and odors. Air quality in my home has noticeably improved, and the purifier continues to run quietly and efficiently. Iโve been using these filters for several months now and theyโre holding up well with strong performance throughout their lifespan. For the price, these offer outstanding value without sacrificing filtration quality or compatibility. They perform on par with the more expensive OEM filters. If you own a Blueair 500 or 600 series purifier and need reliable replacement filters, these are an excellent choice. Highly recommended.

Good Build, good airflow
Have been using these air filters for about 5 year on my Blueair 500 system. Solid construction and good airflow (not restricted). Have tried couple other aftermarket filters in the past, but they were very restrictive. Save some money over the Blueair mfg stock.

Excellent, a huge amount of granulated carbon in each filter, great VOC and odor control.
These are great filters. They are very, very heavy; they have a ton of small carbon tubules (basically granulated, but tubular form) in each filter. I've cut them open; the carbon is contained in a cardboard filter matrix that is in line with the airflow (obviously). The downside of having that much carbon is reduced flow. I've gone through multiple sets of these particular filters; this review is based on most recent set I got in late 2025. If you need to reduce ODOR or VOCS these are the best bang for the buck by a huge margin. For sure they will flow less than the standard HEPA filters--all the air has to pass through a lot of granulated carbon--but so do the factory smoke stop filters. Even with the factory filters, you are trading one thing for the other. If you just want to reduce particulate matter and don't care about odor/VOC removal, get one of the other brands of replacement filters which have way less carbon. Or just get the plain HEPA version. For sure they will flow more. It's nice to be able to choose. I should mention that I've had a BlueAIR 600 running continuously since at least 2015. It's never turned off. I swap the filters every six months so I've gone through a fair number.
