3 Way Clamp, for 1.0-1.4-Inch (25 to 35mm) Tube, KG900412

Sturdier and more solid than a super clamp when you have the right size 'tube' to latch on to. It is, admittedly, more of a special-purpose item, not as versatile as a super clamp, but when you attach it to a riser column (for example) it really becomes part of the riser. I mostly use the 3-way version for mounting power packs and additional weight low on my stand.Unlike other clamps it's of almost no use without a Kupo attachment, but get just one baby stud attachment and mount almost anything.

To go with this Kupo makes a couple of studs that lock into the slots in the clamps collar . It's a handy way to attach other things - flags, lights, reflectors - to a C-stand or a pipe with a one to 1.4 inch diameter. Another accessory for this clamp is an arm that supports a C-Stand arm.If you think you need a better solution than a Mafer clamp or a Cardellini clamp for this one purpose this does the job, but really it's a specialty item.Kupo also makes a larger diameter version as well but with the larger version none of the slots for attaching studs are on the opposite side of the vise, and the larger one doesn't work on C-stands or narrower columned light stands.The locking pin on the collar is a really good safety feature.

It is lighter than it should, the metal alloy aluminum seems like low density despite that fulfills its function, the clamp can be adjusted even in metallic square
