Brand Indoor/Outdoor Carpet Tape, 1.41-Inch x 42 Feet, White (286373)

I bought a lightweight outdoor rug because it looked cute on our covered patio. What I failed to consider was that apparently I had also purchased a small textile kite. Every remotely enthusiastic Texas breeze sent this thing folding, flipping, bunching, or attempting to leave the property entirely. I would straighten it. The wind would move it. I would straighten it again. The wind and I entered into a deeply personal disagreement about who actually controlled the patio. Enter this indoor/outdoor rug tape. I taped down the problem areas and, for the first time, my rug actually remained in the general geographical location where I put it. It holds surprisingly well, keeps the edges and corners from constantly lifting, and saved me from walking outside seventeen times a day to retrieve a rug that had once again chosen flight. It’s especially useful if you love the look of those lightweight washable outdoor rugs but live somewhere with actual weather. Mine is on a covered concrete patio, and the difference has been immediate. Five stars. My outdoor rug now identifies primarily as flooring rather than aviation equipment.

Good adhesion but on one carpet must’ve had dirt or other things on the bottom of it because it did not stay stuck to it, even though I clean the floor first.

Using it to secure a plastic mat to the wooden floor of my balcony, it mostly stays in place, but you need to use the pattern they suggest on the box

This is very good tape for holding carpets from moving or my framing work. Holds up very well and easy to cut.

This will always be my go to carpet tape. I’ve used it on several applications. Not just for carpet. You can even stick carpet to carpet. Highly recommend for anything you need to stick to something and have it not fall off. It is very sticky though. Keep that in mind.

This stuff works great. Be careful when cutting it with scissors. It's sticky and will gum your scissors up. It is thin enough so it doesn't appear bulky like with mounting tape. It's working well so far. If you have alot of animal hair or lint in your house I suggest putting it in a baggy after each use. The sides of the roll tend to be sticky as well and that stuff is like a magnet to it.

This duct tape didn’t really work on my outdoor rug. It wasn’t sticky enough so I returned it. It’s very thin. It did stick to the concrete, but not really to the rug.

I bought this to wrap my drum shells with new wrap. It holds well, worked perfect for my application. This eliminated the need to use permanent adhesive on the wood shells

Super practica pero con la acumulación de polvo (lo use en el tapete de la cocina) llega a vencer el adhesivo y hay que cambiarlo. No es nada grave pero vale la pena decirlo que no es permanente aunque aguanta bastante

This product worked so good I could not believe it. I didn’t use it and wanted a refund because it the tape appeared thin. I was forced to use it the other day as the straw area rugs I bought were blowing all over my deck. The thin two sided tape held down my light draw area rugs so solid I couldn’t believe it. I just had to write an amazing review as the product works so Amazing!

very very sticky, and stays put on carpet and concrete but does not stick to rubber/underlay! It’s my mistake for assuming it would stick to rubber when the packaging does not claim it’s made for rubber, I just don’t want anyone else to make the same mistake:)
