Another DUD DVR
Another security DVR without instructions, or a remote. These are suppose to be security devices, to be used to protect ones property from harm. Sorry, but a complexed device such as these need clear concise instructions, and a remote control to allow programing it for operational use. I have been a security company owner, and am considered an expert in the field of security. Most of the devices and or people claiming some kind of "security" are really using the term security as an excuse to get out of something. Sorry, I cannot recommend this product to anyone. I am now on my third purchase of a so-called security DVR in a week, please make this one the charmer. Awaiting its arrival...

Down side is there is no apple app for iphone that works fine, the ipad app is ok
Desktop computer screen images are ok. Down side is there is no apple app for iphone that works fine, the ipad app is ok. I wasn't able to set the HD camera from Swann to work, just the Swann analogic ones. I was replacing a previous Swann DVR.

It's useless now.
Only worked a few months. I was rarely able to connect and view live streaming video from my cameras. I could not get the email to configure/work to notify me of triggered events. Searched online for a manual and when I finally got it...it did not help. It's useless now.
