Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Rich Blood

So I got this for Christmas last year. It was purchased off his website so I got a better deal on the price. I loved it when it first came; I didn’t know it had shimmer to it but I was fine with it really. I absolutely love the color, it’s a cool tone red that fits my skin perfectly. I have Redrum which is a good red as well, but it’s a little warm for my skin. Anyway, I used this lipstick sparingly to make it last but I guess I shouldn’t have done that. It has dried up very quickly, within a few months. I’m not sure why. If I had to venture a guess I would say it’s the shimmer that has thickened the formula and perhaps removed some moisture from it. If you’re going to buy this, by all means do so, but make sure you have some contact solution or maybe some cosmetic oil to put into this if you don’t use it every day.

This product arrived dried up without a seal. I could barely get enough on the applicator for one application on my lips. For how expensive it was I am extremely upset. I included pictures that show the applicator being pulled out on first use to be dried out and crusty with barely any lipstick on it. You can see in pictures of the side the product is clearly dried and cracked. Unfortunately I did not inspect the item upon arrival and waited a few weeks to try it out and now I am past the return date. I don't know if the item sent to me was a previous return/used or perhaps the seller has only old expired stock....just speculating.

Jeffrey stuff is normally great and I'm sure this probably was great at some time but this is really dry and it's not coming out of the bottle very well. Usually it takes one maybe two dunks but with this one I had to go in about seven times, no joke. 0/10 don't recommend

This product was a complete fake and I was very disappointed

Being an Independent Brand, Jeffree ONLY sells on his own website Jeffree Star Cosmetics, BeautyLish, BeautyBay, Morphe, some in Sephora and in Ulta soon! He had warned people about this! Anything you buy on here is counterfeit or has been expired in which case the product is no good. I’ll be notifying him of this immediately.
