After trying a few different rounds with this game, I can safely say that it's terrible. The food production is so incredibly challenging that you'll find yourself wondering how any armies in Europe ever survived in the dark ages. I don't understand why it's rated as high as it is on Boardgamegeek.com, but I can say that I strongly disagree with their rating.
