Works great
I really wish I had gotten a set of these years ago. makes using taps trivial.

Great socket set, did the trick!
I had a particularly stuck oil fill plug on my Jeep transmission. Had a set of back-out bits, but not the proper tool to back them out! I was using a crescent wrench before, which kept slipping on my bit. This socket did the trick, grabbed well even when I had to use my breaker bar to get me the leverage to pop that plug out.

Great adapter but..
I picked these up as a one size fits all option for taps and extractors. They’re simple to use: hold the bottom, turn the top to open like a drill chuck, tighten down on your tap. You can then use a ratchet to chase threads, cut new ones, and even use extractors. The one issue with extractors is that if the broken piece you’re trying to get out is in there tight, the socket adapter tends to open and becomes useless. I don’t regret buying them, but I would recommend get the Lisle tap sockets as well for use with extractors or left hand thread. I’ve used a coworkers and they work very well also.

Must have for chasing threads
If you chase your threads regularly these are a huge timesaver. So much faster than a hand held tap. Solid construction

Fits all Taps I've encountered
very good tool all in all, I would advise to use with a drill and low torque rating to save your taps (specially cheap taps at that), has work very well on me, rarely gets loose (impact driver will make it loose quicker), you can also use extensions to get to those hard to reach places, I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to use standard taps! i've never had any luck with impact driver made/rated tap systems, always ended up braking them, this has made my life so much easier, yet to break a tap since i've been using it.

So nice to have
My foreman and I love these for doing a lot of hand tapping. Only gripe would be it doesn't actually grip a 6/32 tap completely. But other than that they are excellent
