PolyAuto Baby Rear View Mirror

The plastic to attach the mirror was flimsy and didn't hold it up. I even felt it was dangerous as the mirror would pop off the base so you can imagine having it hit your baby in the face. Returned it immediately.

Glad to have it -- even though it's a bit awkward to get the set up right.

Works great to see my little one in the back seat! Love that it's adjustable not just by the bands but you can tilt it any way your like for a better view.

We hesitated and thought about it for a while before getting it because of two reasons: Firstly, people sometimes say that it's a distraction for the driver, and Secondly, the nurses at the hospital once told us that any loose objects inside a car can become "projectiles" during a crash.Regarding the first reason, it is as much of a distraction as having a passenger in the back talking to you (so, not really a big deal in my opinion if you know how to drive properly). I think being able to see if your baby is choking or just quickly checking on her/him by just give it a glance is a huge advantage and it's totally worth it. As for the latter: this thing can be very well attached to the head rest by way of the included cross-strap. It would be extremely hard for it to become loose or detached.Additionally, it is made of anti-shatter material and it is convex, which allows you to see the entire view of your baby (and see what she is playing with) and you can still adjust it / modify the reflection angle after it is installed.

I've searched for a mirror that works with headrests that don't adjust, and this works great in my car! My husband was nervous that the mirror was hard and not soft like other ones we've purchased, but the box states that it is shatter-proof, and indeed it is so. Easy to put on and the mirror itself is a nice size.I am SO glad that I made this purchase. As young infants have to face backwards in the rear seat of the car, I absolutely love that this mirror allows me to check in and see her. My 3 month old watches me in the mirror and makes eye contact and I like how she knows I'm right there. Other mirrors only work on a middle headrest but this one is easily adjustable on a side rest - which is very important since most cars only have head rests in the backseat on the sides. It was easy to put in and I have not had to adjust it since.
