Fantastic lens, I always recommend Sirui lenses to anyone who are starting out in cinematography and want the best value for their money. This lens does not have the teeth for your follow focus, but that's a super cheap add-on ring you can buy separately, and it is usually included with your follow focus. I will definitely keep buying Sirui lenses.

Getting that movie look is every enthusiasts dream, and for under 3 bills, this is the way. This feels sturdy, the focus is smooth and accurate, as is the aperture wheel. Compatible with my Sony NEX 5t, and ZV E-10 (You will have to change the shutter in the setting of the camera due to the non-auto focus) but its very easy to use and most video editing software has a "de-squeeze" option. The "haze" look was due to the heatwave that had us enduring 95 degrees (Fahrenheit) at 7:30pm and fogged the lens. The fact that even fogged the lens performed beautifully made me glad I bought it.

Great lens. Only issue for me was how it felt putting it on and taking it off. It felt rough and sounded like a grind. Not sure if it’s like that for others. Just worry about damaging my camera.

This lens has a nice quality in low light condition, the anamorphic style will put your projects in the next step. This is my first anamorphic/cine lens and I'm very happy, it's what I mainly use in my Sony FX30, a decent wide angle, good T2.8 aperture for low light conditions. It's amazing. I'm considering to buy the SIRUI 40mm anamorphic with auto focus, defenetly I will keep SIRUI lenses in my gear from now on.

After being impressed with Sirui's 50mm and 35mm I had to get their 24mm lens to have the set so far. I am more into wider shots so this 24mm is more for those who want that extra horizontal field of view. I do hope Sirui manufacture an even wider lens (15mm would work really well especially for micro four thirds) but for now using a 0.43 wide angle adapter with the lens works really well as long as you do not mind the soft distorted edges. One thing to note is that this only shoots up to F2.8 aperture and not F1.8 like the previous 2 but because it is 24mm you still will get a shallow depth of field if you are close to your subject, speaking of which this is the only anamorphic lens I know that can shoot 2 feet away the others were about 2.5 feet and most anamorphic lenses have a minimum focus distance of 3 feet. Overall build quality is amazing as expected and the image from all of Sirui's lenses are very sharp for an anamorphic with great contrast and all the so called anamorphic flaws are there (if you want real oval bokeh you will need to modify the lens) If you buy from Sirui themselves shipment is very quick as this arrived about a week earlier then its estimated date which is amazing. If you want to explore anamorphic imagery with a wide lens then this is the perfect start and I hope Sirui takes off as the low budget anamorphic Kings as you will never get a cheap set with amazing build and I hope Sirui continues to manufacture more lenses down the line I know the 75mm is out but as mentioned I hope they do a wider lens then the 24mm but this 24mm is amazing overall.

Ein wirklich gutes manuelles anamorphes APC-C Objektiv. Ich bin besonders von der Schärfe überrascht, es ist trotz anamorpher Optik erstaunlich scharf, nicht weit hinter dem Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 und dem Sony 20mm f1.8 G mit denen ich es verglichen habe - alle bei F5.6 wohlgemerkt, offenblendiger könnte es leicht weicher sein an den Rändern. Ein paar andere Objektive waren merkbar weicher an den Rändern. Ein Punkt Abzug allerdings weil man die anamorphen Flares suchen muss, die müssen durch starkes direktes Licht provoziert werden, sie passieren ansonsten nicht, es ist sehr unempfindlich für Flares - was man gut oder schlecht finden kann.

Calidad de acabado y empaquetado del producto, viene en una bolsa al vacío. Todo metálico y los anillos de enfoque y diafragma son de giro continuo. No se observa afectación significativa en los extremos de la imagen, teniendo en cuenta que tipo de objetivo es.

Es grande y muy pesado, metal robusto. Notablemente mayor que el 50, con un campo de visión enorme y una distancia mínima reducida, tienes que acercarte mucho. Mas duro que el 50, se me hace mas contrastado y menos luminoso evidentemente. Los flares son abundantes y orgánicos, Me encantan estas lentes pese a todos los contras...
