Tough 1 Cotton Leads with Bolt Snaps

This lead rope was plenty long but the diameter of it is very small. I would think a horse could snap this rope in half pretty easily. I expected a regular size lead rope. Probably my mistake because I didn't research it enough. I would use this on a smaller animal but definitely not a horse.

Okay, I should have realized a price like this would be junk...but I didn't realize I was basically buying a lead that is basically only good enough fora very tiny dog. I would never use this for a 1000 pound animal. My concern is that someone new to horses wouldn't understand the danger of tying a horse with something like this. Please avoid an accident and don't use this lead - it is not remotely safe to use with anything larger than 20 pounds...and I still question if it's safe.

Disappointed. This lead is about half the thickness of my Wilson lead. More like a dog leash than a horse lead.

I ordered 2 of these leads and both broke soon after I got them. The clip broke when I accidentally dropped the lead rope while leading my horse. While still walking my horse stepped on the lean rope this breaking the snap. The other lead my other horse was tied up to be groomed. He got spooked when a cat being ran into the barn. He pulled back breaking the snap as well. I only had it for a week and had used them only a couple times.

This came in and as soon as I grabbed it out of the package I knew it was one of those smaller less expensive lead ropes, in no way did I need such a skimpy lead rope.

While these are nice leads.....they are very thin. Picture is misleading, I wasn’t expecting small thin lead ropes.

Thin, more like a dog leash than a horse lead. Also just too short, I should have paid attention to length, really not a good length to tie a horse, and the thickness is concerning and the snap isn't a very heavy duty snap.

I bought three. Fall apart in weeks. I hope for a refund.
