Pretty with Problems
I ordered this clock and had a really hard time getting the battery in. I literally had to jam it in. I tried several batteries, including brand new ones, and it wouldn't work. So I sent it back and they replaced it within a day or two (very fast service). This time, I have the battery only partially in, and it works. Go figure. On the second clock, the 'utensils' aren't even around the clock. If I line up the '6' and '12', the utensils aren't straight. If I line up the utensils, the numbers don't line up. Also, it's 17", not 18". I happen to like it, and I'll use it while I look for one that's better made. The service of the company is very good; it's just the product that's left wanting. Update: I had to change the battery and, unfortunately, was never able to jam one in again so it would work. The clock looks better than many of the same type, and I especially like that the face is covered, but the fact that the battery compartment is too small for the battery and the 'utensils' don't line up with the numbers makes for a big disappointment. There's nothing I'd like better than to get another clock that looks like this one, but obviously this one is too sloppily made.

Love the clock
Love the clock, gave it only 3 stars because it took 2 months to get it. Order March 17 , received on May 17. But it does look good in the kitchen.
