These speakers are fantastic with incredible sound. If ANYTHING goes wrong with these speakers, contact Altec and they will try to make it right. I own 2 speakers and I link them together for awesome surround sound!

Good sound and connectivity. Definitely waterproof. It’s been dropped in the pool to forgotten out in the rain. The battery time is also great.

I bought this for a trip I have coming up to FL because the other reviews raved about battery life and water resistance. My cousin has one and said it once floated all the way down the river from him while kayaking and never stopped playing music! I was very impressed with the sound quality already and the attachment hook to hang from a bicycle bar, shower rod, or pole on a boat is GREAT! I have not been able to personally test the water resistance yet, but will repost when I do!Update: does not float, but does withstand water!Bought march 31, 2021 and died June 4, 2022… not daily use but definitely a lot of use on beaches and by pools!

Great sound out of a small package.... Charge it up before using. It rides in my work truck and takes that abuse and still bounces back without any problems

The media could not be loaded. Amazing sound from such a small speaker. It does not vibrate or sound distorted when you turn it up. It’s heavy-ish, rugged and I’m excited to have this with me in my kayak. I have had Jabre, Bose, and this out sounds the others this size. Not to mention it charges my phone and it is waterproof. Nobody can touch this little speaker!!!My only wish is that it had a hook for a carabiner so I can clip it to my boat. The bigger size has a handle, but this is such a good size i wouldn’t sacrifice its size and weight for a handle. It’s just something for Altec to consider

I purchased this thing before Christmas of 2018 (Christmas sale) with the plan to take it on the river this summer. Well, I went on a 5 hour float in an innertube with a mesh bottom. The speaker was submerged about 2/3 of the float, off and on. It never lost sound or power and was on the entire time from a full charge! It certainly floats too! Sits a little low in the water when left to wander on its own but I was satisfied. Continual audio when sumberged. I do wish it came in more brightly colored options for better visibility (although the blue and black one has pretty florescent blue) in case it got lost in the water.Love this thing and use it regularly in the kitchen and througout the house! Now I can add water fun into the mix!

I bought this speaker for using outside while swimming. My phone says you need to have the app to connect to the speaker, I've downloaded the app and I cannt find this specific speaker on it. I haven't been able to connect it at all to my phone, but my husband is able to connect without the app and It works. I wrote an email to the company trying to see if there was something I was doing wrong and never heard back. I just want to be able to us this speaker. We have 2 of the H2O minis and love them. But this has caused me a lot of frustration and for the price it upsets me even more that it's not pairing with anyone's phone besides my husband's. I gave it a one simply for the fact I cannt connect to anything but 1 phone. The sound and everything else is amazing when it's working through my husbands phone.
