I use these to hang venison shoulders and hind quarters to age. They are sturdy enough to hold 25-30lbs with no problem. The points are nice and sharp and slide into the meat easily. They are dishwasher safe which makes cleaning them a breeze.

Use the hooks to cook chicken wings in the oven. Hung them from the oven rack to bake. Wings turned out good. Hooks worked great!

Bought these based upon the given specifications. Upon opening the shipping package, I could visually tell that they looked thinner than described. I measured them and they were approximately 3mm and not 4mm diameter as described. These hooks are still sturdy enough for what I intend to use them for so I will still keep them, just disappointed that they were not 4mm as described. If you need the strength of a 4mm hook to hang heavy cuts, I suggest you try another brand.

I am hanging salted meat with these hook. Very useful!

I bought these for their length. They are not as thick as the other hooks I have but they should do the job on the types of meat I hang for smoking.
