Originally I did order a cheaper one but the seller said it was damaged on transit, but I did review the comments that other customers had said about this Mitre Saw and took a chance as I have never heard of the Make of this one before. When I got it, it took me a while to understand the makeup and model number and safety figures on this saw. I am going to build a special stand for it with solid wood and have it bolted to the stand. I have tried it and it cuts well and you do not have to just anything on the saw always making sure you do not have long sleeves always making sure your saw in your workplaces as this saw will cut off any part of your anatomy always make sure you have a good safe area to work when cutting and always make sure you have the proper fire extinguishers in your shed for both wood and electricity. The Mitre Saw so far is ok and easily used always use the wood clamp that came with the saw. The only downside I can see is I never got an Allen Key to take the blade of if needed to be changed in the case the blade is blunt or damaged. Everything else is ok and working properly yes I would recommend this saw to any DIYer, or apprentice doing joinery, carpenter etc. Great piece of kit.

Auf der Suche nach einer Kappsäge für den stationären Einsatz in der Werkstatt, bin ich auf die Metabo gestoßen. Da ich bereits eine Tischkreissäge und eine andere Kapp-Zug-Säge habe und außerdem mit dem Platz etwas haushalten muss, habe ich mich gegen eine weitere Zugsäge entschieden. Vorwiegender Einsatz ist das Schneiden von Leisten, Stäben und Rahmenholz.Ich habe die Säge als Warehouse-Deal für einen sehr guten Preis ergattern können. Beschrieben mit optischen Mängeln (mit denen ich bei deinem Werkzeug leben kann), wurde die Säge bestellt. Wie gewohnt, kam die Säge zügig bei mir an. Ausgepackt und vor mir stand eine neue, offensichtlich ungenutzte Maschine mit einem kleinen Kratzer im Sägetisch.Natürlich musste die Säge erst einmal genauer inspiziert und getestet werden.Die Säge verfügt über ein LED-Arbeitslicht und einen Laser. Das Arbeitslicht ist sehr hell und leuchtet den Sägebereich sehr gut aus. Der Laser war nicht ganz winklig, konnte aber schnell eingestellt werden. Die ersten Testschnitte überzeugten. Das werksseitig montierte Sägeblatt hinterlässt einen sauberen Schnitt, ist aber nicht ausrissfrei. Hierfür sind ein feineres Blatt und ein „Opferholz“ am Werkstückanschlag nötig.Einen Kritikpunkt habe ich jedoch:Ein Sanftanlauf würde der Maschine gut stehen. Drückt man den Knopf, spurtet das Blatt los das die ganze Säge ruckt. Deshalb ziehe ich auch einen Stern ab.Auch mit dem Wissen die Garantieansprüche zu verlieren, werde ich von einer Elektrofachkraft den Sanftanlauf nachrüsten lassen.Alles im allen eine zu empfehlende Kappsäge.

Bought as a present for my husband so I can only go on his comments. Good value for money and does the job expected to do. He seems very happy with it although has not been able to use it as much as he would like at the moment.

the laser is just far away from streight , absolutely useless laser ,the machine is small and is powerfull but is so noicy and not so stability as better brands3 stars from me

Didnt want a cross cut saw searched for ages to find a decent mitre saw and this little gem popped up, very sturdy well made piece of equipment has an led light and a laser, saw is easy to set up blade cuts very well only negative is the clamp is a bit feeble but I can live with that.
