Is this product 3m? in the picture is showing that the roll carboard piece has 3m printed inside but the one that i received doesn’t have it

Yes, it is 100% genuine 3M 2080 products. The core tube is brown color only. And the backing of the vinyl has 3M blue logo on it. We are vinyl wrap distributor and ordered it directly from 3M. We submitted our 3M verification to Amazon when we listed it. Thank you

Will this hide any imperfections in the trim or will it still show through?

If you have vinyl trim your supposed to remove the old, sand and clean it then put on the new vinyl.

Easy to use for a newbie. It doesn’t seem sticky straight from the roll but once you adhere it, it has grip! It has great stretch, took me a bit to get comfortable stretching it but definitely made application smoother. I used it to blackout my grille on my 2025 Explorer and still have leftover. Much cheaper alternative to buying an entire new grille 😅 I know some reviews complained about the little blade that’s included but it worked great for me.
