I got this for the inevitable day that I would cut or burn myself. What do you know, I cut my foot open on some rocks and went right for this stuff. I must say that I was skeptical and thought it l it wouldn't do much different than a water irrigation, given the claims are that it's all natural yadda yadda. I don't care if it's all natural, I just wanted something that wasn't isopropanol or hydrogen peroxide; both of which are dangerous to use when you have anything more than a scrape or paper cut. So, I used this stuff. It didn't stop the bleeding or anything but it irrigated really well. It didn't sting, but there was some minor sensation of bubbling, although not like hydrogen peroxide would result in. It doesn't dry quickly and the excess wipes easily but leaves the wound and surrounding surface just a little moist. Anyway, the foot is notoriously slow to heal. But the next day there was a well formed layer of protective scab and skin that protected me. If I had just used water, I would have expected a few days for these kinds of results. After everything healed up, I was surprised that there was no scar. Hydrogen peroxide would've made it scar and isopropanol would have just made it bleed a whole lot more at the beginning. I'm happy with it and bought the pet version of it too.

Heals open wounds fast

When my hubby got an open wound on his lower leg that required treatment, we were sent to a would care treatment center. When it became apparent that this was going to take a while (4 months and counting) and he has weekly appointments. They were seeing him 3 times a week basically to change bandages and clean the wound. I got the doctor to agree to see him once per week and I change the bandages at home in between. I started buying supplies, using what I saw in doc's office as my set point. This particular wound cleansing spray is the exact same one used in their offices. It's really great and works. It would be great on all types of scratches and wounds (basically anything that's bleeding and needs to be cleaned).

Works fine. After purchase I consulted would specialist doctor who said it was okay. Not the most recently recommended cleanser but is AOK.
