Haoge Square Metal Lens Hood for Fuji X100VI X100V X100F X100 X100S X100T

I bought a cheaper, plastic version of this that lasted about six months before it cracked. This is what I should have purchased to begin with. Solid construction, and I was able to attach my UV filter easily. No need to buy an adapter for your filter if you buy this. The cap... I've heard several say the felt inside wears away, but my sense is if you place it gently, it will last. So it's nice to have a lens cap again.

This is a great lense hood for the X100VI. Installation was effortless if you follow the included instructions and alignment is always straight if instructions are followed. Looks to be of good quality as well.

I have used this lens hood for two years with my X100VI. It is simple to install. Some users suggest that it does not allign properly or is loose. Just follow the instructions and it is stays stationary and aligns perfectly . Further, it does not block the internal flash. It is nice looking as well.

The Haoge Square Metal Lens Hood for Fuji X100VI may look the part, but when it comes to fit, it's more frustration than function. The sleek, minimalist design promises a snug match for Fuji’s elegant X100VI but in reality, it wobbles, misaligns, and feels like it was built for an entirely different camera. Attaching it can feel like solving a mechanical puzzle with missing pieces, and once "secured," the hood often sits crooked or loose, an infuriating detail on an otherwise precision-focused camera. For photographers who value alignment and stability, this is a major letdown. Stylish in photos but sloppy in practice, this hood turns a premium camera into a shaky DIY project. Fuji shooters deserve better than a fashion accessory that doesn’t even fit the frame.

I like the hood a lot. It matches the cameras color and just looks good. One problem I had was that I had to buy 4 of them to find one that screws on right, horizontally. One of them actually was vertical and the other 2 were screwed on diagonally. There needs to be better quality control on this product.

Works as advertised to give you that Leica look. Does it make a big difference? Probably.. the best use of this is to protect your single, non-replaceable lens on your shockingly expensive X100VI!!! I replaced the bezel ring with a bezel UV filter and this was not compatible with it.. I had to find a thread-in filter to use, which works perfectly. (49mm Tiffen GlimmerGlass for that extra dreamy look). Overall.. really like it. Worth every penny, it's easy to install, strong as an ox, protects everything. Perfect size/match.

I really wanted to like this lens hood since it looks so good in the photos. However, once I received my X100 camera, I put on the lens hood and the screw mount (for the lens hood) keeps going about 90 degrees further than the horizontal alignment with the camera. It looks ridiculous, imagine someone wearing glasses that are tilted to one side = that's what the X100 looked like. I bought two of these and both had the same problem. One was worse than the other. Since the X100 was backordered, by the time I returned this product, I only got a partial refund.

商品の内容については、他の人にお任せして、フィルター径49ミリのSONYのレンズ、E35f1.8に着けられるか人柱になってみました。 結論から言うと、49-49フィルターアダプターを用意すれば、装着可能となります。 商品説明にあるfuji100系のカメラでは、レンズ側が49ミリのオス（ネジが出ている）になっているようで、普通のレンズのようにメス（ナットのようになっている）タイプのレンズにはそのままでは装着できませんでした。そこで、49-49のオス-オスのフィルターアダプターを挟む事で、問題なく装着できるようになります。そこまでして、この商品を選ぶ理由があるのか否かは個人差ですが、私的には満足のいく結果となりました。49ミリ系レンズの方の参考になればと思い、レビューしてみました。

This is such great complement to my X100F and the build quality is really old and the colors match well. I love it

works perfectly for my x100vi, I do find you need to filter the finally hood onto the adapter a few times to find the spot where its tight enough and lines up perfectly, I can see how some people don't get it cause they try once and then become angry, but if you just take a extra minute you'll have it setup fine.

Perfect fit

First of all, the product is of excellent quality and the silver matches very well with my silver X100VI. If Haoge made a X100VI specific hood I'll definitely purchase. The reason I did not keep the product is because after mounting, there is a 1mm gap between the base of the hood's mount, and the camera's mount. See attached photo. I also own a Haoge filter mount and it worked perfectly for X100VI and the connection points are flush in a line, without a gap. I've decided just to stick with filter for now and see if haoge will make a X
