Worked as expected

We do a lot of hardware cloth on our little homestead. From rabbit cages, to snake-wire protection, and even to attach chicken wire or various overhead wiring. This small clip when used with the proper tool does an amazing job of making our lives a whole lot easier as farmers. As a woman, I find it even more beneficial. Working with hardware cloth and tying it off with wire is no fun, and there have been times when my hands looked horrible from wire scratches. But the clips simplify everything. Quick, simple and easy to use. That's how it should be when doing those farm tasks that nobody really wants to do, and we are grateful for these small clips that have made our lives that much easier. Highly recommend this item for all those small projects, and even the larger ones if the wiring being attached or connected to is not too big around. I always keep a bag of these around and avoid running out. They have saved our bacon more than once in the past!

Makes a very stable connection. Be sure to get the proper tool. A little more work than hog rings but a much better quality cage. You can double them for firm floors and corners. Single for flexible joints like doors or a foldable cage.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Easy to work with

I use this to attach 1/2” hardware cloth onto my chicken coops. It works great. This will not be suitable for 1/4” hardware because it won’t fit through the small gaps. However, it’s perfect for 1/2” hardware cloth or to attach chicken wires together.
