Annoying noise
My old strainer broke , so bought this replacement, its slowing down the flow causing the filter to make intermittent noise. Starting to get annoying . When I take the strainer off the noise stops.

yes, this also fits the 407 perfectly too if you were wondering.
on fluval website sells the same parts 406/407, so tried this (as i broke the inlet part) and it fits perfectly.

Helps maintenance having two of these
Although pictured white I received a black. Very easy to install. Twist off and twist on. I had no idea just how clogged up the old one was. Now I can interchange every so often.
