Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Face Wash, 16 fl oz

It's a real shame they discontinued this. This and the product this replaced where my favorite cleansers. Smooth, non-greasy, non-scented, easy to rinse off, and non-skin drying. Hoping this comes back some day.

This stuff is great and I cannot see myself ever getting different face wash now! So gentle, but cleans well!

My daughter picked this up for me to try on my sensitive skin. It works well and doesn’t cause skin issues. While I switch out with other products, this remains one of my favorites.

Like all Neutrogena products this is a good cleanser but not as good as their foaming cleanser.

This is the only face wash I've ever used that didn't breakout my skin. It dries it out a TINY bit but nothing Vaseline can't fix. Plus it's minimal skincare that's the best. It lathers on nice and doesn't foam up. There's not much smell which is exactly what I need! It lasts forever and if you have super sensitive skin, get this one, not the blue one which also says sensitive skin

With skin being such a subjective thing and acne that's been nearly impossible to treat for years and years, I was skeptical to try yet ANOTHER face wash, but this one really WORKS for me! I'm nearly 40 and this is the first cleanser I've found that actually IMPROVES my skin! My acne improves as long as I use this cleanser at least once a day (so far it improves further when I do it twice a day) and generally just feels better. I do have sensative skin, but not hypersensative. Mostly it just itches easily and putting nearly anything on it causes breakouts. I used to have oily skin, but it seems in the last few years that it has dried out for some reason. Still, I don't usually feel dried out after using this. I also like that it's scent free (since I'm a little sensative to it and have several friends that are allergic to scents) and doesn't leave my skin feeling rubbery, greasy, or heavy. It just feels fresh and clean! I do think it can be very frustrating paying for large bottles of cleansers only to find out they don't work for you, so my only complaint is that this and other companies don't seem to sell small sampler sized bottles so it's easier to try the product out for a few weeks before commiting to (and paying for) full-sized bottles. I know one size doesn't fit all when it comes to this kind of thing so I'm SO GLAD I lucked out this time and ended up with something that works for me!

This cleanser for me is actually too gentle to use by itself. I can wash my face for 2-3 minutes with warm water, but I'd I use micellar water and a cotton pad after, you can see that this cleaner didn't touch my foundation. I'm sure this works for some people, but for me, it want a face wash that I don't have to follow up with another face wash.

I have really sensitive, rosacea prone skin. I've used this cleanser for a few years and I love that it's a great quality, inexpensive item that works well. It's extremely gentle, unscented and doesn't leave my face feeling dry or irritated. It doesn't lather, but I think that's a good thing. I hope Neutrogena never stops making this product.
