Easy to use, good strong buckle, lightweight, brilliant value

I couldn't find what I wanted...but this fit my budget, and I figured it MIGHT work. Well although it may be perfect for just camera gear...it wouldn't act as a leash securement for a 34 pound search dog hot on a trail, LOL! I took it to an upholster and had it double sewn with heavy thread. It really is made of great materiel, just didn't have enough stitching to handle what we need. There MAY be times it will have to hold my weight and that of my dog. I Have a great many things on it..and they are all easily accessed. If just using it for photography items, I don't believe it would need to be reinforced at all. It is also very compfortable to wear even with the weight of my additions and the pulling of my search dog. The video below should give you a good idea of how I use it.

You know the drill. Whether it be a DSLR or a mirrorless camera, you want to carry some extra lenses with you. Those lenses then end up in a case, backpack, or some other inconvenient place that must be open and closed every time you want to change the lens. This waist strap solves that problem. Just snap it around your waist, adjust the size as necessary, and you have a very sturdy and handy way to hang a number of lenses and accessories without having to dig around in a bag to get them every time you need them. I must say that, for the price, I was expecting something much more flimsy. This waist strap feels extremely strong and comfortable and has multiple metal and other hang points on it. It's something I wish I had had long ago! Just take any high-quality lens case, attach it to the strap, and now you can walk around with quick access to your lenses. And this is much better than hanging lenses on your pants belt, which often ends up pulling down on your pants and just generally being annoying. This belt sits around your clothing for much greater utility. The clasp that closes the belt feels exceptionally strong and durable, and the padding on the inside of the strap makes for a more comfortable fit. For the price, this item is a steal! Five Stars!

I like the belt locking and the overall comfort. I would like to see it lock the adjustment better than it does. I'd imagine a clamp on the adjustment strap could solve that issue. I wish it had a better method for strapping down lens holders. I use the elastic band and rings with a lens bag. If the elastic band was a nylon one with clamp locks I think it would solve the issues I have. It does allow me to carry my macro lens around with relative ease and I do mostly like it. Price is very good.
