If you're a bread machine addict like I am but don't have the money to spend or don't want another hard-to-store piece of kitchen equipment, you may love this bread slicer as I do. Easy to assemble - 4 pieces snap or slide together. Easy-peasy. Its diminutive size makes it unusable for large loaves. For smaller to medium loaves you can cut the loaf in half & take it from there. For freshly baked, warm bread, use a serrated knife (carefully wipe the blade between slices). For cooled bread, I've found an electric knife works best. What I really like about this product is that it collapses easily & I can store it in a drawer. My kitchen was built in the 1920s so is small with limited storage space. It's a little flimsy so don't get too aggressive with it (but that also makes it easy to break down. Also, the price. Can't beat that with a stick! It's an easy-to-use/clean piece of bread-making equipment if you only need to cut small-ish loaves.
