Good value at the price for 5 of them but accuracy varies and isn't really good enough. At room temperature there was variation of about 1 degC between them, but placed in the same cup of water at 65 degC the variation from highest to lowest was up to 2.5 degC.Worse, when compared to a reference temperature the best of them was reading about 1 degC off. Also, it's a puzzle to me but they all have different response rates to temperature change - alter the temperature of the water and they take different amounts of time to stabalise at a new value. Strange!I'm sure they're okay for some applications but not for mine. In future I'll be spending the extra pennies to get the proper Dallas version of this sensor, or something of similar, better quality.

Used in water for 2 weeks constantly submerged as described in description "WATERPROOF" ..... died today, I've got 2 more but if you plan to submerge, keep the point of connection out of water and only stick metal surround in....Look for a longer probe if dipping from top water.
