I bought this screenplay to help my son with his understanding of the film. He is studying it for his A2 French and the film version he watches at college doesn't have subtitles. This script has helped him a lot with his understanding of the details of each scene.

If you are studying Au Revoir Les Enfants in school for your French course, then I HIGHLY recommend you purchase this book. It literally saved me from becoming swamped in all the complicated French that is the book. It will give you the support you need to read the French book and although you may not understand bits you can always refer back to this instead of getting bogged down with your nose stuck in a French dictionary or on Google translate. I found it a lot easier to read the French version after I had read the English version. I recommend this book a lot! xo
