Come as You Are: The Story of Nirvana

I have read several books on Kurt Cobain and Nirvana. This is the only book I have read that is from the source - Nirvana band members and not the author’s version of what happened. It was also written during Kurt’s lifetime, with his, Krist and Dave’s input, as well as input from their friends. For these reasons, this is the best book I have read on the subject.

Livre très interessant. Se lit facilement même pour une personne qui n'a pas un excellent niveau d'anglais. Pour moi sûrement le meilleur livre sur le groupe. Je recommande à tout fan de nirvana et même aux autres !

I have read many Nirvana/Kurt/Dave biographies, and although much of the info in the book I had already read about, I really enjoyed reading about it from this perspective. This book was written before Kurt's suicide, so Kurt isn't sensationalized the way he is now. A great read! I recommend this for anyone who wants to learn more about the story of Nirvana!

This is the only book on the band I own and probably will own. As it was written when they were all still alive and together and they contributed to it, I feel it's the most reliable as it's not biased at all. I found it really hard to put this book down. It is so very interesting. It tells the story of the band really well and gives a great understanding to the members and their lives too. If you're a fan of Nirvana, don't even question it. Just buy it. It's not expensive and regardless of what the cost is, it is completely worth it 100%!!

If you are a Nirvana fan you HAVE to read this enchanting book. Its really interesting and you get a special look of the band. However i have to say its more a biography of kurt than a biography of the band.
