So after my typical 78 hours of searching for the "Best" one. I bought this one. Let me tell ya, you wouldn't think the coring process would be the most time consuming part of doing apples, but after getting this, it is, for sure. It literally took a couple seconds with this tool, SECONDS folks, not a minuet or two per apple. SECONDS. I processed the bunch of apples I had in about 45 minuets. I had figured four hours to do so. If you just do one at a time for a snack, get this now, You'll be back with a cored apple before the commercial is over on the T. If you freeze, or dehydrate apples like I do. This is a no brainer, Seriously, The time it saves, and the effort is takes, hardly any, is worthy every penny. Especially with a fruit that starts to brown as soon as the peel comes off. Lastly, the obversion I had with kitchen gadgets is one, they never did what the lady or gentlemen in the infomercials did, or if they did, not for long. They broke or quit working. This one has a lifetime warranty. After using it a LOT. I can honestly say, I see why now. Its tough. Not some flimsy sheet steel that's going to fold up after a dozen apples. Used properly and stored correctly, I can see this outlasting me. The cutting teeth are on the end. So don't just throw it in the gizmo drawer. Treat it like a knife. Hand wash it, hand dry it, and put it away.

Works great. After using, I wash and dry the parts by hand and then store it in its original box. I was impressed by how easily it cut and how quickly the process was. The handle was easy to turn. The parts were clean when they arrived, appear to be in excellent condition, and it looks like they will last for the rest of my life (I'm 74).

Wife approved! She was very skeptical about this item when I bought it for her. I showed her some reviews on YT and she made the typical "I'm not so sure about this" face wives make when you show them a vacuum instead of a diamond necklace. Well guess what? I bought it, she used it and she came running over to show me how great it worked! She raved about how easy it was to use and how great it was to not have to slice up a whole pineapple. I used one of these beauties when I was visiting my brother and sister in law and loved it! They told me they had gotten it on a recommendation from somebody else in the family. It works wonderfully, The only caution I would give is do not hold the apple in your palm while coring it, the end of the corer is sharp. The thumb lever opening of it to remove the core is genius. No more fighting to get the core out.

My absolute favourite apple corer of all time. I hear people complain about theirs but i've never had a problem with this. The trickiest part is washing it after use, so I try to always do it immediately after use so nothing hardens on and its so easy. It's honestly the best. I didn't know apple corers could be so good, but they can. The handle on it makes it nice and stable to hold when trying to cut through the core. The fact that you can open the circular long bit that cuts makes it easy to remove the cut core right away. Great design. Lasting ages!
