At first glance, this almost looks like tomato juice, but it is distinctly goji juice. It separates and you have to shake it up, which tells me that it hasn't had all sorts of junk added to it to keep it from separating. That's a plus. I'm not a big fan of the taste of goji juice, but definitely appreciate the benefits of it.

I was distracted by the holidays, so I didn't taste this Goji juice until 3 months after I ordered it. I'm glad, as I would not have given it a chance. When I opened the package, I was immediately turned off (unfairly) by the look, density and color. So, it has been in my fridge about 2 months. Today I finally opened t, and I LOVE it! I shook it up and sipped straight from the bottle. It took a minute as it's very tart, but the flavor is followed by a veg or tomato taste that I find very pleasant. I don't like sweet anything, so if you like a sweet flavor, this probably isn't for you. This is tart but tomato or vegetable forward as a finish. It's great diluted over ice (for me). A great Goji introduction for me, and a great sample size for experimenting.

The juice is super pure at 98% juice with only water and citric acid that make up the other 2%. Everything is all natural with nothing artificial whatsoever. It tastes like it's an exotic fruit, not too sweet though, and quite similar to a guava on my taste buds. The texture creamy, having a slow and milky thickness that's closer to a smoothie than that of regular, watery juices(see video/image). The weird part was discovering serving instructions that treat this juice as a type of supplement, rather than a normal drink. It actually says to consume a full, 8 ounce glass of water or some other beverage just like taking a capsule supplement. The size is 2 tablespoons and can be taken before the diluting beverage, or mixed together. It's very confusing because I thought this was simply a pure juice that I could enjoy a glass of when I felt like it, but it's apparently not. Even though it tastes good, I can't enjoy it the way I planned, so that unfortunately causes me to not recommend it. Thanks. Take care.
