We are in a desert area which can get dusty when the wind kicks up. These simple little black caps fit snugly over RCA jack inputs on costly audio gear, protecting the inner works from dust and grit. They are a super small investment in protection.

Excellent Protection
There are 6 (unused) RCA female connectors on our Kenwood KMR-D382BT AM/FM/CD/BT radio that needed protection from marine environment humidity and dampness. These are a nice fit. With a little added silicon grease to help hold them in place we expect this protection will last for a long time.
