This is truly one of the few products that can clean fabric that requires dry clean only. It was expensive $50 but worth the money since it removed stains the stain removal experts could not touch. Highly flammable and very odorous so be careful but with proper use you will be satisfied.

I have read many of the reviews. Clearly, even those that highly rated this product, do not understand its purpose. It is designed primarily for wool and other "S" labeled products e.g. Upholstery or wool rugs. Get grease based stains or simply significant soil out by simply following directions. Nothing works as well. It no longer is manufactured because of "green "concerns that found their way to the EPA and the equivalent. It's elevated price today reflects its efficacy and scarcity and demand from those who know. It has resurrected upholstered items my grand children would otherwise have destroyed should I not have been able to clean them.

Did not damage fabric, but was unable to remove baby oil stains- the type resulting from baby oil applied after a shower and then sitting on sofa- not me. Stains faded 10-15% but still very visible after 6 applications. Hype from reviews and product cost left me expecting better results than I got.

I kept wondering why this can looked so familiar then I remembered as a kid seeing it in my grandparents’s dry cleaner. This works wonderfully well. After drying and airing out my coat looked so clean almost new clean. Make sure you realize the cleaning code S for spot cleaning only.

When ever I or my husband get grease on our clothing I use the dry cleaning fluid to get it out. Even if the clothing has been washed and only then I see grease marks it still will get the grease stain out. Once I've applied some of the fluid to the clothing I just put it back in the load of laundry.

My dog slobbered on my brand new coat and I tried to clean it with water. Used Guardsman dry cleaning fluid and dabbed it on the coat and the spot came out clean.

This is THE best for removing oil/grease stains from tee shirts!!!!! Ever get pizza oil on your tee shirts, before you throw the shirt out, you must try this. It's my go to stain remover for many years.
