Uni Jetstream Slim Compact, 3 Colors Ballpoint Pen (Black, Red, Blue) 0.38mm, Lavender Body (SXE3JSS38.34)

This is one pretty lavender pen that is comfortable to hold, and writes smoothly with a fine line in black, blue, and red ink. I'm tickled pink with how well it writes. So neat and smooth. The clicks are precise and satisfying. This is what I always dreamed a multi-color pen could be, but what every other one I've ever bought isn't quite. I love it! It is so cool! I am less tickled with the way this pen is pictured and described, because when I ordered it, I thought it was a three pack of normal pens. It's not. It's just one pen. Mind you, it is a very cool pen that looks way less geeky and feels way less clunky than most other multi-color pens. It writes as smoothly as soft butter spreads, and feels sturdy in my hand as I write. It's a great pen. Glad I bought it. Probably wouldn't have bought it, though, if I'd realized I was only getting one pen.

For being a three color multi-pen this slim pen is perfect. It doesn't feel too chunky. Matter of fact, I like them so much I bought all the three colors. The ink is smooth and doesn't blot too badly which is really nice for a 0.38 pen.

I am a pen junkie. With that said I am very picky om what pens I like. This pen is almost everything I like in pens. I was very surprised to see this pen has fine point. I love fine points that aren't gel and that don't smear. This pen meets that for me. Love the color of the pen itself and how it writes. The only thing I would say was a con is ink color. I will I could get refills multi color, like purple, pink, green etc. I wish I could get different colored pen refills. Other than that I absolutely love this pen!!!!

These pens are extremely versatile. The three color way makes it the all-around pen without having to bring three pens at once. Ink Thickness: The 0.5mm is the best thickness in my opinion (I normally like fine point pens for better precision for note taking). My ideal pen thickness is 0.4mm because 0.38mm is too thin. When the pen is super thin, it is highly susceptible to skipping and you have to write slowly to ensure the ink transfers onto the paper. Ink: Uni Jetstream is a ballpoint pen, not a gel ink pen. As a result, the pens are obviously not as “inky” or bold as gel pens usually are. However, ballpoint pens have their advantage in that the ink last much longer and typically dries a lot faster (especially for left-handed writers). Ergonomic: The “Slim” version of Uni Jetstream 3 has a thinner body than the regular Jetstream 3. However, the Slim version does not have grip and it does start to hurt your hand after writing for a while. The pen is very lightweight and does not have a heavy “body”. You definitely have to put more pressure on the pen to hold it still. If you need a sturdy and weight-forward pen, the Pilot Center of Gravity pens are amazing for ergonomic usage. Grip: There is no grip on the pen. If you’re using the pen for long note-taking sessions, your hand will definitely hurt after a while. Quality: The body of the pens are made of plastic and definitely not the most sturdy. However, for the price, the pens is a great value.

This is what the giant "BIC" quad color pen should have been. Slim, smooth writing gel ink, nicely textured grip area. You never have to press hard to write, in fact, it's discouraged. So if you're a tight fisted pen holder...this may not be for you; but if you like to let your hand fly as you write and don't have a death grip on the pen, this is an awesome little find.

Like the bulky blue and white one I had in high school, but with a great smooth fine line. Doesn't smear like gel pens

Really like this pen. It's my favorite color, nice & thin, 3 colors, fine point & writes smooth. Haven't used it a lot yet but so far so good.

Writes beautifully smooth, dries quickly without smudging, no annoying ink blobs in your line, and super fine. Pen body is nice to hold and sturdy making lovely to write or draw with.

Lightweight. Thin but not tiny in the barrel. A little bigger than a zebra width but not fat like a pentel. The .38 is beautifully pointy. Have had one ink glob one time after a week of use. Highly recommend for those teachers out there that love a good multipen.

Good for those that like very very thin and small writing, for me, too thin.
