Laughably tiny, but gets the job done
[that's what she said]When I first separated one of the whisks from the packaging, I thought oops . . . maybe I should have searched for "small" whisk, not "mini". Then I took it for a spin. It turns out, these are the perfect size for whisking small amounts like miso-butter, an egg, or even homemade vinaigrette. I no longer have to whisk these things in large bowls with my human-sized whisk. Now, I just whip out one of these Barbie whisks for small jobs.

The best mini-whisks!
Mini whisks are hard to find in most cookware shops. Years ago, I found this set of one 5-inch whisk and one 7-inch whisk in a cookware shop and haven't found the same brand (R.S.V.P.) since. They are made of a heavier gauge of stainless than the few other 7-inch whisks I've seen and the stainless steel is of a high quality. I run them in the dishwasher all the time and have seen no rust at all. The 5-inch one is the one I use most frequently and it is nearly impossible to find one in a store. These whisks are the ideal tool to mix small quantities in a small bowl. The "business end" is about 2-inches long, so this isn't the tool for whisking, for example: 6 eggs and a bit of cream ... I use the 5-inch one almost daily to make a vinaigrette for salad for 2. My vessel of choice for the dressing is a 5-inch mortar (the pestle being used to mash garlic and salt together before whisking in the vinegar) or a small Suribachi (Japanese grater bowl). This whisk combines the ingredients well and will sit in the bowl without falling out while you reach for the pepper, etc. or go to give the dressing a final whisking before using it.The 7-inch whisk which also has a small "business end" is handy for combining mixtures in a glass measuring cup or a drinking glass. But a fork works just as well for those tasks, so it's the shorter 5-inch model that I find indispensable. I was most happy to find this product at Amazon and as a testament to its quality, I'm not replacing my 8-year old ones ... I bought these to give to friends and to have a spare set.

Fantastic for Cappuccino / Hot Chocolate Mixes / Matcha Tea / Etc. Ad Infinitum
These are the perfect whisks for mini-mixing jobs. My husband likes a latte in the morning and cappuccino in the evening, and I've been through AT LEAST three mechanical, hand-held mixers. Unfortunately, no matter how much I spend or what model I try, the little motors eventually give up the ghost. One morning, staring at my latest dead carcass of an electronic device, I thought "gee, it would be great if this whisk attachment was longer--then I wouldn't even NEED the motor" when I had a V-8 moment & thought--hello, dum-dum--find a little hand-held WHISK that can fit in a coffee mug! Well, DUH!So I sifted through a few reviews at Amazon & settled on these. They're just what I wanted; the handle is coiled metal and rigid, easy to hold, and the whisks work just as they should. I actually can mix hubby's latte more quickly and thoroughly by hand with these than I could with the little battery-powered mixers I've used in the past. I can even create a little foam on top of the cappuccino, just for authenticity's sake : ) These are a winner--very versatile & easy to clean. Can't beat the price; highly recommended for quick kitchen tasks; very happy with my SIMPLE solution. I wish I'd been smarter, sooner!

Great product for home chefs.
I love these little whisks! I use them to whisk matcha tea sometimes, but mostly to mix sauces and marinades. This works perfectly for that purpose, since you don't have to whip out your full sized whisk just for a small batch of marinade or even dirty a fork for any reason. They've held up pretty well and there are no signs of rust.

These Little Guys Do the Job
I've had a mini whisk for easily 15-20 years, and used it all the time. Imagine my horror when I heard something grinding in the disposal, and pulled out a mess of wires. My mini whisk. Nooooo!!I was surprised at how many there were to choose from, and what sorts of reviews they received. I mean, it's a mini whisk. From what I read, I thought I'd go least wrong with this set.Was I ever right! Though I have them a bit less than a month, they've been used numerous times, and washed repeatedly, both by hand and through the dishwasher. No problems at all!Time will tell whether they will hold up to that original mini whisk (I have no idea who made it, I only remember I got it at a kitchen store that closed well over a decade ago) but so far, so good.
